Have now booked the DJ, and have put a deposit and booked the wedding decorations (chair backs, table-centres etc). Am meeting the priest in a couple of weeks and have ordered a few designs from Vistaprint (and they look pretty good)!

Went to a wedding fair the other day and the lady who owns a bridal dress shop said that I should start looking in a couple of months!!

Are any of your making your own invites?? I am planning a DIY invite party with my friend who is getting married the month before me. just wondering where you got your card from - everywhere seems quite expensive just hoping someone knew a cheap website

sorry can't help you there, you are way ahead of me

i got the dress i ordered, and it was blue not ivory so that has been sent back. Tried on a silver dress in Monsoon (carmel i think) and i'm a size 14 bust and size 12 waist and hip which is frustrating. It looks difficult to alter as it is diagonal rather than up and down seams.

anyway, we've realised we haven't paid the deposit for the reception venue yet, so i'm off to do that on Saturday and have a chat with prospective caterer.

please let me join the brides to be of May 2013, booked the church today for the 26th May 2013 and im already counting down the days. Just need to make a decision between two venues one being a near by holiday inn and one being a local wedding venue.
now the church is booked it just seems so real i cant stop smiling

The more people the merrier, good to hear everyones plans seem to be coming along nicely. We had our save the dates agreed so are now into production from our friend. Under 400 days now for us, cant wait till we're under 365!

Hellooooo! I'm a 26th May bride too! Booked church, venue and have sent an e-mail confirming photographer. Now trying to decide on a theme. So far, I have 2 ideas: 1.) blue 2.) vintage. That's as far as I've got! x

i've finally picked a colour scheme! I was thinking of favourite things today and thought of mojitos. I'm always making cocktails at parties and these are my favourite.

So lime green and ivory it is - hope the h2b agrees

Hello can I join the thread? We are getting married on the 25th may next year. So far we have booked the registrar, ceremony venue and reception venue. I've got my dress and the bridesmaids dresses and have begun collecting the decorations. So excited! Nice to meet everyone
