As a wedding photographer, I've been taking enquiries for a while now for 2013, so make sure you get ahead of the rest wherever you live The more you tick off the list the more you will enjoy the run up to the big day. Congrats to all!!!

My daughter got engaged March 1st and plans were for 2014 wedding. She announced last week they wanted to get married 2013 and its now
May 11th 2013!!!!!

We have provisionally booked venue yesterday and she has spoken to the vicar who has confirmed that date is alright and they see him on Saturday.

She has a bit of catching up with the rest of you brides, any tips gratefully received.

Hello can I join in please? We don't have a definite date yet but have booked to go to Vegas between 10-15 May 2013 so it will be sometime then!

Oooh how exciting, yeah of course you can. I'd love to go to Vegas, I think it's one for my list to do once/if i get some spare cash.

We booked our DJ at the weekend after seeing him do a set at an event we went to!

Eek! Have now booked the ceremony for 12 May 2013, 7.30pm. It's a candlelit garden, can't wait!

Have also ordered invitations, we only need 2 really but have ordered 3 so we have one as a keepsake as well.

Invitations have arrived today and they are beautiful, we're so pleased with them. Will be telling parents on Sunday so fingers crossed they want to come to Vegas with us!

been to see the registrar today and booked thursday 30 may 2013 had to go for a weekday wedding as hubby is a dj and has lots of friend who are dj's or doormen so it would be hard for them all to come if it was a weekend.

things done

dj -free as he's a mate
step mum doing flowers and centre pieces as prezzie
my dress and flower girls
evening venue our local club having room for free but we are doing our own food and decoration

next on my list is sorting out wedding breakfast in restaurant of our local club

Well we've invited our parents and they were thrilled to bits and all are coming to Vegas :T. Do need to build up to spending 5 days with them all though :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi to all the new may brides and grooms since last time i posted on here ive not really done much but we went and seen the priest last week and have now picked out all our readings and songs and we are going back to see him this friday to have an informal "meeting" to get to know us a bit better. We have pretty much everything booked, its just paying it off now which is the boring bit i still need to start my invites which i havent done yet, i starting planning my wedding well over a year ago thinking i had ages but its come around soooo fast! How are you all getting on with your plans?
