Yeah it is, thrown everything into question and unknown where to go from here really. It all depends as we may be fine and not have a problem but them on the other hand what happens if they go under a month before the wedding.

To jump ship (and possibly lose our deposit) or stick it out (and then have them cancel close to the wedding)? Decisions decisions!

had my shoes today they are a little bit higher than i was looking for but as soon as i put them on i fell in love and they feel so comfy just hope they look good with my dress have to wait till friday to go down mams to try them on together can't wait :j

For money saving:
My chief bridesmaid is doubling as the official photographer for free as a wedding present.
My uncle is making the wedding cake
I'm going to ask my cousin who's a jeweller to make our wedding rings
We used Vistaprint business cards as Save the Date cards and we're thinking of using their postcards as invitations.
We're going to try and make our own table decorations.

I got my dresses from BHS, I actually liked the one I didn't think I'd like (the colour was nicer on the one I received) and didn't like the one I thought I would. Anyway, neither was 'the one' so they are both going back.

I've been to my first proper dress shop today, tried on 8 or 9 dresses and absolutely love the first one I tried on :T. I have another appointment next Saturday at another shop, which the lady in the shop today encouraged me to still go to, but I can't imagine I'll find anything more than the one I loved today :):).

How is everyone else getting on?

Hi, I'm 3 May 2013. I went to 3 shops and got my dress on the last try - so have probably tried quite a few dresses on. Surprisingly the one I chose wasn't the kind I'd have thought would suit me. At least I've found one now and can concentrate on something else - am also hoping I won't go off it lol!!! (I'm very indecisive!)

I chose my wedding dress last Saturday! It was the very first dress I tried on, I tried a load more dresses on but I just knew the first one was THE dress It's far more than I had planned to spend but my mum surprised me in the shop by saying she would pay for my dress!!

Went to my second shop yesterday and really liked the last dress I tried on there. Put me in a bit of a quandry but I had another appointment at my first shop afterwards and tried on my very first dress again. I actually shed a few tears when I tried it on again (as did my mum) and she said she'd had a dream about me in it, it's definitely 'the one'. So it's ordered, and my mum is paying for it . I was a bit shocked when the shop said I wouldn't hear from them again until February though! :eek:

My fiance and I have decided to get married on the 10th of May 2013. Just need him to visit (we've managed long distance for 5½ years) to go and have a look at the venue. Not long to go is it? Gulp!

Just need to get or pay for the following:

• Venue
• Flowers
• Rings
• Outfits
• Registrar

Oh well, here goes! X
