I am so rubbish at all this subterfuge, I have about four things I am not allowed to mention on there, so I just gibber nonsense :rotfl: Whoever said that was a normal state of affairs is a fibber

Evening all!! I need to post here more

I am exhuasted. I have taken up walking and walked for 6 hours over the weekend and then have walked pup twice today and walked to work too (saves me £10 a week which i am going to put toward paying off our debts) So now i am shattered! - will hopefully help my weightloss, I am trying so hard and feel like i've stalled!
Going to get up early and do it all over again tomorrow.
OH is still at work...he left the house at 6am this morning think's he'll get home around 10 with any luck.
We're living out the freezer and cupboards for the rest of the month, and seems to be working so far. Have done 2 shops at the start of the month and apart from milk i've not bought anything else yet!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

hi everyone
I have been mia since Friday's earthquake and tsunami in Japan as DD lives in Tokyo with SIL.
Luckily she sent me an e-mail from her school to say she was ok. She managed to walk home with a colleague who lives nearby as no trains were running . It took 4 hours and there was no power or water for a bit after she got home. She found the aftershocks scary.
I managed to persuade them to leave Tokyo and go to his parents in Gifu which is a good 7 hours drive away. As there was another possible earthquake predicted and I was very concerned about the nuclear threat. We talked today about her coming home but she has decided to stay......I worry about her.
We were due to fly out for a visit tomorrow......sniff, gulp.
Anyway my heart goes out to the Japanese people....

Kazzaw it WAS you :rotfl: I remember now, it was the word nanna that did it.
Gintot, I hope your daughter and son in law and their family all remain safe and well. On of my workmate's nephews is stuck there, he was due to come home but his flight was cancelled, and as so many people are trying to escape (if that's the right word) he is having real difficulty getting out. I have just been watching the news, and was in tears, so many terrible tragedies, each one as tragic as the next. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window
