Happy birthday to Bitsy and Karen.

Didn't get home till 10.45, so I am an hour behind already.

Just went to put the slow cooker on with the bones of the chicken in. I wanted to heat it up and seive it to to get the bones out and strip the last of the chicken off and then use the liquid and chicken to make a soup. Flippin' DH made a gravy out of the liquid so there is only a bit in the bottom. So I am just going to strip the last of the meat off and freeze it for something else.

Beef stew done in the SC for dinner today I think, will probably do some flat bread to go with it.

Woo hoo! tesco honored my price check!

    I bought 1 litre of baileys (£16.47) (asda £10)
    1 tube of pringles (£1.99) (asda £1)
    4pk Galaxy chocolate (£1.73) (asda £1)
    2.5 litres of pepsi (1.79) (adsa £1)

    cost in tesco = 21.98
    cost in adsa = 13.00

Voucher for 2 x £8.98 (£17.96) :) I always buy baileys for my sister at Christmas, so that's her pressie sorted for £4.02  plus a load of junk I shouldn't be eating but what the hell :rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning Everyone

    :bdaycake: Bitsy & Karen

Luckily I wasn't drinking coffee when I read your post Bitsy:D

Well loads happened since I managed to post on Thursday, we had a good weekend in the 'van and the weather was relatively kind to us, especially Saturday.

DS & GF have found a flat only £280 a week, but that isn't dear:eek::eek:. They say it is really nice, and the lady who owns it has been living in it and just renting it out, so things have been looked after. North London. DS had his car insurance renewal, and it had gone up £100, did comparisons and could not beat it, even though they were a year older now 26 & 25 and an extra years no claims, and a clean sheet. This was in Surrey where DS was keeping the car at the GF's home, to insure it for their new address was an extra £327 (and this is a nice area). Hence was it was a nice to have and not a commuting vehicle, then it is being brought home next weekend to be sold. DNephew will check it over and fix anything that is needed, check it for a 12 month MOT, they we will have to see how you sell cars these days.

Cannot face any housework as having 2 new windows fitted tomorrow, so will blitz the place then. DH busy in the garden, I have just squeezed, with the FP attachment, a bag full of oranges we brought back from Spain which we had picked ourselves from our friends tree, and found out how much it will cost for us to insure the car (which is in reality mine anyway) until it is sold, £209.

Need to go and find lunch. Take care all, ((hugs)) where neeeded. DG

Off to get the DC from school. So anything else I manage to get done today will be a bonus.

Dinner is in the SC. Not managed to tackle the paperwork or the landing but hey-ho, will have to put it on tomorrows list.

    Hi,
Happy Birthday to Bitsy & Karen.
Lame wolf, nice to "see" you.
HH Hugs for you, hope daft SIL's actions don't affect you directly.
I am feeling better today & have managed to get some bits done in the garden also saw all four of my baby goldfish, it's nice to know they survived the winter, but despite two weeks of double decker frogs still no frogspawn :(
WM has packed up so DP is off out to see if he can get a new element for it, fingers crossed he can get one today.
Cranky I had to laugh at your description of your shower manouvres, hope the seedlings survive.
Hugs spoons & hi5's where needed.
