I cant believe the article re the Soft Play Centre List. Is it like illegal to make a list of such information and post it? There is no prompting as too how to shop and get the best deal in line with the terms and conditions. Baffling, us diligant consumers need a voice.

V off topic (sorry) but couldn't help but laugh when I saw this when I was reading the Daily Mail story about the £20 cap. Just what are people doing whilst waiting for the next DtD special to come out?

If he had received cash back I could see your point but he hasn't. He has received a gift card that he has to spend at tesco. Just the same as a voucher. Only difference is he has spent it on something else. It is the same as some using there DTD voucher on a kindle he has used my giftcards on a TV.

The value of the wine has just simply been spent on something else at tesco. Explain to me how it is FRAUD. It's clealy not and people should not say it is when they don't know what fruad is. he was open and honest with the CS lady and she agreed that it would go on a gift card.He has not tried to decieve anyone in the slightest.

    Thats my view anyways!

That's just plain bloody minded. Nobody wanted my receipt yesterday when I used my DTD voucher. I could easily have come back later and asked for my money back on the 6 bottles of wine. Nobody would have known about the DTD voucher.

    Of course - I won't - because I'm HONEST.

    Unlike your 'friend'.

    No voucher yet.
But for info I have got a reply from my email sent to CS yesterday during the chaos:

"I am sorry that you have experienced difficulties with our price check scheme. I can appreciate how frustrating this must have been for you.

We always work hard to make sure the service we offer our customers is the best possible.

After being made aware of manipulation of the scheme by a small number of customers we have taken the decision to implement a cap of £20.00 on any refund entitlements to protect the initiative. The vast majority of customers don’t receive any refund at all after they check their real shop against Asda because they see that Tesco is cheaper.

The £20.00 cap became effective on our website from noon on Thursday the 24th of March. Regrettably, due to some technical issues the changes were applied historically. This meant that a minority of customers found their vouchers reverted to £20.00.

This issue has now been resolved with the £20.00 cap now being effective for requests submitted from Friday 25th of March. If you have submitted a price check prior to this date please re check your link where the original voucher should now be visible.

While I appreciate there is little that can be said or done to alleviate any inconvenience this matter has caused you. I sincerely hope that despite this unfortunate situation, you will give us the opportunity to restore your confidence in our operations.
If you have any further queries regarding this matter please do not hesitate to call our dedicated Customer Service team on 0800 50 55 55.

If decided I dont like my 6 bottles of Turners Chardonnay (I didnt).

I returned them this morning and handed over my receipt. The receipt had clearly written on it that a DTD voucher had been used. I think I used a £100 DTD voucher and spend the rest on card.

They gave me a refund back to my card for the wine.

Just because I paid for the wine using a voucher, shouldnt mean I dont have the right to return it. If they had given me store credit I would have been happy but they offered to put it back on my card.

I'm interested as to why you put quotation marks around the word 'friend' in your post though... it was pretty obvious that you were referring to yourself. Or maybe I'm getting it wrong.

Anyway, fraud, schmaud. Enough! :) Let's forget about it and concentrate on getting the maximum from this DTD c*ck-up! :T
