Tesco's price check - blowing in the wind!
LOL - what a fab headline that would be!
:rotfl::rotfl:bargainhuntergill wrote: »Omg I have just cried laughing at that article in the middle of a soft play centre, searching for the creator of the spreadsheet lol lol
Same here! Whoever created that spreadsheet, I salute you!!!! I LOLed at the bit which said that the website does not offer any information on how to manipulate Asda's 10% price guarantee, but solely targets Tesco. :rotfl:I can't see how its fraud. Its just like returning an item, you get a refund or replacement, instead of a returning it for nothing they give you a gift card as per there T+C. If you had purchased an electrical item with your DTD voucher and it broke would you return it or keep it?
The gift card was sill spent with tesco, if they had given cash or i demanded cash it would be a different matter.
It's fraud IF your 'friend' spent the DTD vouchers that you got from those original receipts! If 'he/she' didn't, no fraud. Which is it?
Another problem with this is that I think you're obliged to give your name and address when buying a TV these days (which is then passed to TV Licensing). So your 'friend' would be traceable. Is this the case?
p.s. just found this also: :eek::eek:

but what i don't agree is if you have already used the receipt to claim ANOTHER voucher then returned the items
come on that is not on!:(:(:(
It's each to their own and tbh do you think it is going to affect Tesco's profits? Do you think it is right for Tesco to increase the price of some of their bottles of wine so they can then put them on half price offer a month later? What about the genuine buyers who think they are buying a decent bottle of wine when it is priced at £10.49? A lot of people go by the price of wine when they don't know much about wine, thinking the more expensive the better it should be.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I printed off yesterday's voucher in black and white as my colour printer had run out of ink. Will this be a problem? Will they accept a b&w copy of voucher?0

Please can we stop with this fraud nonsense.
Read the T&C's- Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
- Where an item is purchased using a Price Check voucher and the item is subsequently returned, any refund will be offered by way of a Tesco money card only.

It shouldn't be a problem, the main thing they are bothered about is that it scans.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I'm hoping someone can help me out regarding the Hardy's Crest please, would prefer to return the bottle before submitting the receipt
I bought a bottle a week ago (Chardonnay) and it came up N/F. I emailed Tesco who apologised, said they'd try to get price check updated and would send me a money card. This was before the chaos of yesterday so don't know what the situation would be now.
Hope that helps.0 -
