It shouldn't be a problem, the main thing they are bothered about is that it scans.
    Thanks ever so much.

Please can we stop with this fraud nonsense.

    Read the T&C's
    1. Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
    2. Where an item is purchased using a Price Check voucher and the item is subsequently returned, any refund will be offered by way of a Tesco money card only.

So...its NOT Fraud then as the T&C say he can do it...I think arronc's friend has done well to get a new TV out of Tesco's stupidity and fair play to them :T:T:T:T:T:T

And who's the MSE'r in this thread?? Fame and fortune beckons lol.

I can't remember who said that, was it sassey73? :T
just got back from MILLBROOK SOUTHAMPTON where i spent my 1st and only voucher £42.81. the lady took my voucher and said oh no sorry i've got to call someone, the other lady came over saw the voucher grabbed it out of her hands tutted and mumbled something like "this is a scam one" disapeared for over 5 mins(the lady at the till was very appologetic) then came back, scanned it through and said all this will stop at 12 oclock tonight, we've had too many scammers in here, make sure you sign the bottom of the receipt and walked off.

the lady on the till said that there is a customer who has been coming in everyday with nearly £100 voucher and they think she is re using the same one.

my mum actually got a bit cross that they were basiclly calling me a scammer!

OMG, that is absolutely terrible! You should def complain, but not before you go back there and find out that woman's name!!!!! I would be totally humiliated and upset if that happened to me. Hugs xo

What was the technical issue with PriceCheck? Was it making them look expensive in comparison to Asda?

I returned some items, I had used a dtd voucher FROM that shop (not to buy the items with) subsequently. Not all of the items were cheaper at asda, in fact some were more expensive there. Noone had signed my reciept when I used the voucher, noone asked me if I had had a voucher from this, nothing seemed to come up on the till at customer services, so again they've created a rule and then not implimented their own t&c's?

I've checked a few times now and each time it says the same - as if it's a new receipt I've enterer blah blah will hear within 36 hours!! Why do u think mine doesn't say 'still being processed' then?

No idea why yours says that.
Just a bit annoyed that I cannot get the voucher from a shop 2 days ago, DS is also waiting for his from the same time as he took me shopping.

Wish they would get it sorted

But how would they know that a DTD voucher had already been redeemed in respect of his 4 receipts???? Would they know, or are they depending on the honesty of customers to let them know?

I for one will not be returning anything that I've had DTD on. I will be returning my roasting tins, but only because they came up as N/F and Tesco wouldn't budge on it. So I've had no DTD on those and can return them with a clear conscience!!!

LOL - what a fab headline that would be!

Same here! Whoever created that spreadsheet, I salute you!!!! I LOLed at the bit which said that the website does not offer any information on how to manipulate Asda's 10% price guarantee, but solely targets Tesco. :rotfl:

It's fraud IF your 'friend' spent the DTD vouchers that you got from those original receipts! If 'he/she' didn't, no fraud. Which is it?

Another problem with this is that I think you're obliged to give your name and address when buying a TV these days (which is then passed to TV Licensing). So your 'friend' would be traceable. Is this the case?

p.s. just found this also: :eek::eek:

If he had received cash back I could see your point but he hasn't. He has received a gift card that he has to spend at tesco. Just the same as a voucher. Only difference is he has spent it on something else. It is the same as some using there DTD voucher on a kindle he has used my giftcards on a TV.

The value of the wine has just simply been spent on something else at tesco. Explain to me how it is FRAUD. It's clealy not and people should not say it is when they don't know what fruad is. he was open and honest with the CS lady and she agreed that it would go on a gift card.He has not tried to decieve anyone in the slightest.

    Thats my view anyways!
