Meaning tesco lose their price promise war as clearly everyone will be thinking OMG tesco must be loads dearer than asda.
So true!!! But they stil reserve the right to withdraw it, and it would not be the first great offer to be pulled because people have taken advantage.0 -
So they wrote them for your health?! FGS at the end of the day, anything you enter into you are agreeing to the T&Cs whether you sign something or not! So yes you do need to abide by them! Should you decide to go over your £100 limit then so be it, but you risk it for everyone else and thats just selfish!
Do I really have to feel guilty when that happens? What if they pull it on 01/04/11? What if 01/05/11? Will they tell us why they pulled the promotion? Will they send me an email? Would they tell us in their TV ads that because ASDA's prices were lower and customers found out they had to pull the promotion?"Retail is for suckers"

Oh come on, they are going to pull the promotion one day anyway.

Do you have to be so patronising? Do you have to think you are right all the time? Do you have to put other people down? Do you know everything about tesco? Do you know everything about this promotion?
The answer to all of the above - NO!
No you don't have to feel guilty but its common sense that if people play by the rules then they have no reason to pull it! the £100 limit per month is plenty to get some free stuff and tescos will not lose out! they will be getting more customers through the doors so win win, when peope take the p**s they wil pull it! Which does nobody any favours!0 -
Ooh so does this mean that I could still buy the Kellogs Variety Pack before midnight tomorrow? I was checking Asda and Tesco side by side and it says "New lowered price from Monday"
Good spot about the tesco saying price from 21/3/11 - maybe it will highlight all price changes this way?0 -

Thanks for all the laughs, there have been quite a few this evening, I think the best has to be the 'Group Hug' nudge, nudge, wink, wink! Night all, sleep tight!0

Yup! I admit I have gone over the limit, but I'm not taking the mess with it, like today I purposely used my £90 voucher to purchase 'normal' items and some DTD items to purposely lower my next voucher, hoping to get about £40 back though. Also I'm only buying things that I will use, will not try to sell anything on or to return after claiming etc. But unfortunately their are those that will really take this promotion to town.
I'm not worried about the offer being pulled just yet, I think first they will find a way of enforcing the rules, then if people still manage to get round it, then it will probably be pulled0 -
