But you dont actually need the email password, just input your receipt details a few days later and your results will appear?

Yes but the results come to your inbox, and to access that you would need the password!

Do you have to be so patronising? Do you have to think you are right all the time? Do you have to put other people down? Do you know everything about tesco? Do you know everything about this promotion?

The answer to all of the above - NO!
Actually I used to work with Tesco HQ on a number of their "promotions", so I do know a bit.

They have committed to approximate promotion budget and timeframe (and hope they will get under budget). By the number of TV commercial it is obvious that their DTD budget is huge. They get promotion feedback in real-time with detailed reports every day by categories (dairy, beverages, etc). And yes, they already know that customers are getting huge DTD on Nivea moisturisers, etc.

Should they go above the budget with this promotion, but it is deemed a successful promotion, they will continue and cut other/future promotions. It is all about their daily net profit, not about whether individual customers claim £99 or £101 or £201.

The only way they can enforce anything at the moment is to lower their prices on overpriced products.

So enjoy the promotion while you can.

Just wondered if anyone else gives to charity , we have local charity that gives out food parcels so I got some cereals which got DTD on so no cost to me but helping others who can't afford food let alone internet to be able to claim DTD just food for thought

Apparently not, once your voucher has been issued if you enter your receipt details into the tesco site again all the info pops up and you can print the voucher from there.

So they wrote them for your health?! FGS at the end of the day, anything you enter into you are agreeing to the T&Cs whether you sign something or not! So yes you do need to abide by them! Should you decide to go over your £100 limit then so be it, but you risk it for everyone else and thats just selfish!

If this was the case then the would have a checkbox to say that you have read and agree to the T's & C's

I dont condone going over the £100 limit, because as rightly pointed out this offer will get pulled for everyone, but i wouldnt of thought they could trace you through the vouchers, whats to say your email address asnt been used by someone else for example, and what could they prosecute you for??? Surely the onus is on the shop staff on the tills to say the till is showing youve reached your limit. Imnot sure but if the bar codes are all the same the only way they could get you is through you club card, credit card

Each staff I met on the till with only 2 small vouchers don't even know what they are, I have had to explain to them how to put them through the till and I have had my receipt from the original shop and they have not even asked for it because they didnt know, so by the time the staff has been trained I would expect this to be over. What surprised me was I was the only one with a voucher on this till on Sat and Sun for that day up to the time I put mine through.

Which is what they should be doing!

And did you just admit that you do NOT know everything about THIS promotion?!

You can access the voucher on the Tesco site, just by inputting the receipt details, once it has been submitted to Tesco. You have no need to access your email again.
