Not if they have previously informed you that you cannot participate!

Are you saying that you are expected to carry to a price comparison yourself before buying from Tesco, just to make sure that you would not get over £100 back on DTD?

    Hi,
just wondered if anyone could answer a question..
If i were to do a shop tomorrow evening say 6pm, would they match the prices agianst asdas prices from 6pm or their new prices (as i know they change around middnight on a monday)?
    Many thanks..

Does this mean Asda's prices will be the same tomorrow but different on tuesday?
Plucking up courage to do my first shop and bowled over at all the information!!

    I now have a conundrum....

I have bought wine, some of which will be used as gifts but I'm going to need bottle bags. The problem is I feel that there is something wrong with spending more on a bottle bag than the actual bottle itself! Any ideas welcomed...

Home bargains usually have cheap bottle bags.

I dont condone going over the £100 limit, because as rightly pointed out this offer will get pulled for everyone, but i wouldnt of thought they could trace you through the vouchers, whats to say your email address asnt been used by someone else for example, and what could they prosecute you for??? Surely the onus is on the shop staff on the tills to say the till is showing youve reached your limit. Imnot sure but if the bar codes are all the same the only way they could get you is through you club card, credit card

But if you said somebody had access to your email account they have to know your address and password, if you did the same to your bank when you say that youve had fraud committed on your account they would do nothing because somebody else has you pin (in this case, your password!)

Rubbish, point me in the direction of a law that says if you breach their terms you're committing a crime absolute cobblers. WORST case scenario they could go for a private prosecution and even then unless you'd spanked them for 1000's it'd not be worth it. Any judge would look at it and ask tesco why they didn't enforce their own rules at the checkout, after that point providing the voucher is valid there's not a damn thing they can do.

You took the goods to checkout
    They gave you a price
You made an offer to pay
    They accepted

    End of

Precisely! Today I used a £90 voucher, which I got from a £95 shop where I used a £57 to pay towards. When I paid the girl on checkout she checked the receipt matched and accepted the voucher, even though that reseipt clearly had my £57 coupon payment on it.

Also to the previous poster to your comment, :rotfl::rotfl: lmao at you thinking they will resort to checking CCTV to find out who you are! It did cross my mind that I have used my debit card to pay for things so they could trace it back to me, but then shrugged it off, seriously dont think they will pay a team of people to track down customers who have 'abused' it, then go through legal proceedings to get back a couple of hundred quid

I think you're getting a bit over-excited about what might happen. Realistically, the worst-case scenario is that they'll pull the promotion.

No, i am not, and people have used over £100 vouchers with no problem (but the staff do not know about the offer so do not know the T&Cs).

At the moment i would hazard a guess that you colud get away with it, however they will probably change it so the highest voucher that was given is £100 even if you were supposed to get £150!

Ooh so does this mean that I could still buy the Kellogs Variety Pack before midnight tomorrow? I was checking Asda and Tesco side by side and it says "New lowered price from Monday"

But by not sticking to the T&Cs you forfeit your entry into said promotion!
Where does it say that? You don't even have to acknowlege that their T&C's exist. They just keep sending you vouchers, and you are just happy to receive them.

If you apply contract law to this promotion, once they accept your offer to purchase goods at checkout with your money and vouchers, and give you a receipt the contract is finalised - the goods are yours.
