Just out of intrest what could Tescos do if someone went over their monthly limit of £100. I for one wont be, but im just wandereing how they are policing it

Huh? Policing? People have been getting £130 vouchers each. They are clearly not policing their own T&C's at the moment, so don't worry about it now.

But just in case, don't use the clubcard when using vouchers and use a different email address when approaching £100 worth of vouchers.

This would make it alot easier agreed - Thankyou, but surley it would also make it alot easier for those Mr T spies to quickly reduce said items? isn't it better for the current item goers to be slightly lost in a long thread?

I had done a weekly shop before i realised that there was dtd on. Once I had done my first dtd shop I decided to enter details of it and my last shop. My weekly shop came back with everything matched and tesco was £6 cheaper.
So I'm not really sure why there is so much dislike of tescos. In fact i would guess that most folks who don't know about here will enter their receipts and find there is little difference between tesco and asda. I know that my mother who shops in asda all the time, has stopped entering her reciepts as it wasn't worth it.
Its good while it lasts, but tbh there is only so much junk food and alcohol I can buy. :D(that's me hung over and on a sugar high!!)
Meanwhile, tesco has lowered loads of prices on "real" stuff and i have done an online shop , using one of my vouchers on things I actually will use in a normal week. There are loads of reductions just made in the last couple of days, with a heap starting tomorrow, so all our hard work is benefitting the masses as well:)

For me, wherever I shop, I tend to only buy products that are on offer rather than 'sticking to certain brand whatever the price'. So say I did my shop in Asda, I'd buy their multibuys and BOGOF's and rollbacks, Then when I run the price checker, unless tesco have the exact items on offer for cheaper which isnt usually the case, then my Asda shop would be cheaper. But if I'd gone to Tesco, I'd of got their offers, which are probably not on offer in Asda, so therefore Tesco would be cheaper. But in hindsight, both shops would probably have cost me the same.

Can anyone confirm that i read a post a few pages back that we should not be doing a shop tom? Is this because of price changes? I would love to go and spend my voucher. TIA

Yes some people thought this, but generally we thought that they were going to change the T&Cs.

Did you ever hear of the saying 'if you cant say anything nice.....'

Price match is to the time you paid. So yes the prices would be compared to the 'old prices'

I don't think they have a chance of policing it at the moment as I think all hands will be to the pump just getting DTD vouchers processed. Going forward, I'm still not convinced they will have time/resources to police it. Which is not to say I am condoning it! :)

PS Would love to know how many members of staff they have working on this at the moment...
They can't "police" it. Their T&C's are not law (not a contract between you and Tesco), they are just marketing promotion guidelines, and it is up to them to stick to their T&C's (and you don't have to). You are not signing/agreeing to any contracts and not breaking any laws when recycling vouchers.
