I don't think they wew changing the products - just a small % came back as n/f for what ever reason. Yes, you can take it up with them - but doing that is not everones cup of tea - for a variety of reasons. The safe bet is if the item is/was listed on the checker - then to double check with tesco and asda site that day as the checker was not always up to date. But the products on it were the original guide.
Sorry to disagree, but now we do not have a pricechecker, no item is a 'safe bet'. Tesco can and will do as they like!0 -

no they cant, well certainly not with identical items which feature on both tescos and asda websites.
Have a look at the T&C's:
5. All comparable grocery shopping is included in the Tesco Price Check (see paragraphs 6 and 7 below).
6. Only branded grocery products that are identical or very similar own label grocery equivalents are included and compared. For own label products to be included we have tried to ensure the equivalent own label product meets the same needs or is intended for the same purpose.
7. For example, we may:
a. Identify the key characteristics of the products including flavour, and whether it is organic, Fairtrade, low fat, or eco-friendly ensuring that they are not matched in a way that gives any retailer an artificial advantage.
b. Where products differ in size, weight or volume, ensure that this difference does not favour one retailer over another.
c. Compare goods where there is no more than a 10% difference in size, weight, or volume.
8 . The Tesco Price Check is made against comparable grocery shopping only, as defined above. It does not include any non-grocery categories whether available in store or online or any in store concessions.

Which, if you had read my previous posts, you would know i have already stated. Its just that people seem to think that EVERYTHING that was on the price checker will still be the same.
Im trying to let people know that if you find an identical product and its cheaper in asda then you should get DTD, if you don't then contact CS.0
