And maybe a sensible one like someone else has suggested, no DTD when using your voucher. I think that would be very fair, because you could just keep on going round in circles and never spending another penny in Tesco. As much as I dislike them they have to make money some how. If everyone did that then they would eventually go bust!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I think Mr T will be kicking someones bum over this offer and how easy it can be used and abused0

I don't think that's a good ploy for asda though as it'd send people running to shop at Tesco! Lol0

So if that is the case it would make no sense on BOGOF offers to leave the free one?
I.e. you would still have to buy one at full price then depending on the DTD you may not even get the 2nd free and not be able to go back for more if paid with DTD voucher2010 Wins:

I actually think that makes no difference, it will only punish people doing normal shops, I wouldn't bother if they would do that, say you spend £100 and get a £2.50 voucher, you use it your next shop which again was more expensive but your not allowed a voucher, why would you bother going back as its less hassle with asda? I reckon if they do change things it will be logging ip addresses which solves the majority of the issueComping wishlist for 2017

Hi, i have spoken to the CS this morning about the price comparison and that i have recived my voucher back since i entered it on thursday....
first i was tols they do not know why the website is down but he will rasie it as a question but he also was unable to access it....
second, the vouchers are taking alot longer than expected... 4+ days...
I would think this will be the way Mr T will push the changes though... Send the vouchers out within 7 days.....0 -
Which would be only fair.
I don't really care about people abusing the system. Each to their own. I wont buy cat food for the sake of it..one we haven't got a cat and 2 it wouldn't be nice to eat. I wont buy the baileys as I don't really like it ..much. I buy what I need to. But I do think that there should be some more "rules" in place. I'd like this promotion to run and run personally. I don't see why it can't do.
I don't think they are pulling the plug on it at all but maybe setting more boundaries on it..and when they are paying out the full amount for peoples shopping trolley/s then its already got a bit too much and the rules needs tweaking.
Well at the moment the Iams 1kg bags work out just 6p if you use a supersavvyme coupon at time of purchase, you could always get them and donate to your local animal shelter, who would be very very grateful. Just a small way to pay this forward.
Ive accumulated a few milky bar cows and cadburys chicks which I plan to donate to my local radio easter appeal.
Ive awoken this morning, headache free and am now, well rested, am sure this is all just a technical problem and all will be well.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Really daft question but why haven't any of us done this to mr A they compare all branded products if i'm correct and 10% back if they not cheaper, might not be as able to get high voucher amounts but still could be worth it. Whoever mentioned fathers day I bought southern comfort yesterday to put away cause can't see this lasting long the way it is!!
just looked up the name for the asda version "You'd Butter Believe It!" and they now sell it at 75p (was £1.26) tesco sell butter me up for £1 so with DTD 50p a tub.
also thinking about Seriously Strong Spreadable 125g 2 for £2 in tesco so 250g for £1.80 in asda after price guarantee, but asda sells the new 250g tub for £2 and tesco sell it(well had empty shelf space last night) for £2.29 so after DTD £1.71 in tesco.
hope tesco get in more cadbury eggs (Buttons 162g, Creme Egg 178g, Caramel Egg 178g)that asda sell for £1 and tesco sell for £2.5 B1G2F (only buy 2 per shop) the shop in town only had the smarties one asda sell and i'm not much of a fan of nestle milk choc eggs and the super store on the edge of town had smarties and kit kat.
someone at tesco made a mistake with the caramel egg as tesco have it listed as 177g but pick up a box from next to that label and the box says 178g0 -

Sounds sensible on the face of it - but it would be against the interests of all the 'normal' shoppers who are just doing their everyday shopping (not targetting DTD bargains) and still getting relatively low overcharges in Tesco. The scheme was aimed at them , not us lot, and it wouldn't be good advertising to stop them using their small refund vouchers towards more ordinary shopping and then pricechecking again and getting another small voucher.
Its the savvy shoppers like us that Tesco want to stop - not the rest!ELITE 5:2
