Im not overreacting, i dont think the offer has been pulled, i think the price checker website has been pulled to stop people from only shopping for DTD items they know they can claim on. They are well within their rights to do so, it just means its not really that trustworthy!
Not really a problem, just buy non perishable goods and then if Mr T doesn't play ball simply return them for a refund. If the product was non comparable then it wont affect your DTD total anyways.2010 Wins:

When everything is back up and running I think we should all email Asda bosses and tell them about this offer so that they can put more specials on in Asda and totally hammer Tesco's.0

Seems a lot of hassle really, and confusion if returning items and trying to use the voucher etc.
And as has already been pointed out, Tesco does not give a hoot how many screenshots you have of a product to say price etc. so if they have nothing we can hold them too, they can do what they like!0 -
I predict a change in terms and conditions soon from Mr T0

I don't think that's a good ploy for asda though as it'd send people running to shop at Tesco! LolPlease remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -
I agree with PUNKPINK the general offer has not been pulled you can still input your reciepts and get DTD so advertising still stands however the main 'abuse' was because of the pricechecker allowing us and it may be a small percentage at the mo to take full advantage but this kinda deal would grow in popularty and tempt us on here to be more and more cheeky(its addictive).
but without the pricechecker its gonna be harder to target the DTD goods and increases the risk of less return.
Im still waiting for my final voucher, usually comes in mail box everyday inc weekend.I jumped on this as soon as I sussed the deal ,felt that it wouldnt be long for they tightened up,
that said think we will get vouchers but the system is being revised and checked for the loopholes.0 -

And maybe a sensible one like someone else has suggested, no DTD when using your voucher. I think that would be very fair, because you could just keep on going round in circles and never spending another penny in Tesco. As much as I dislike them they have to make money some how. If everyone did that then they would eventually go bust!0
