Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

Just compared the two websites to make sue the things I bought yesterday hasn't changed just incase they come up with something stupid like the system crashed so we have to match the prices to the following day etc and nothing has changed apart from the 1890ml surf has gone up to £10.21 in T and is £5 in A so yesterday I should get £7.30 back for but today (if everything is working) you would get £10.42 back and therefore paid to take it away!!To get to Disneyland Florida 20160

T's are still making a killing on this. People ( on here ) have temporarily stopped shopping at A's because of it. People have picked up other items and shopped whilst they are there. They wont lose anything on this.
Exactly!
I spent £25ish doing a 'normal shop' at the same time as doing my DTD shop. Morrisons and Sainsbury's have lost out on my shopping this weekend......I must admit I do miss going in there but I'm a sucker for a bargain! If this promotion was to end so would me shopping in Tesco, I can't stand the place!0 -
I check whilst I shop by using the asda groceries site via my mobile whilst in tesco so their is no way they can fob me off.
But this is no guarentee that they will be 'found' by tesco, if they are on the pricechecker, yes, if they are not, its highly unlikely they will give you DTD.0 -

Still no pricechecker, going to be cheeky, if anyone is going to Asda this morning to check on any prices can you confirm the price of Iams - Adult dog - 3 kgs and Iams cat - 1 kg not furball.
I refuse to sit here all day today at my computer as it is such a nice morning.
P.S. I have only done one shop just to dip my toe and I am still waiting for my voucher, I wish I had done it sooner. No Baileys for me.
1kg cat £3 (IAMS Adult 1+ Years with New Zealand Lamb & Chicken, IAMS Adult 1+ Years with Wild Ocean Fish & Chicken, IAMS Adult 1+ Years Rich in Succulent Roast Chicken)
but looking at the end of aisle displays in an asda store could be a good way to find items to DTD on0 -

Which would be only fair.
I don't really care about people abusing the system. Each to their own. I wont buy cat food for the sake of it..one we haven't got a cat and 2 it wouldn't be nice to eat. I wont buy the baileys as I don't really like it ..much. I buy what I need to. But I do think that there should be some more "rules" in place. I'd like this promotion to run and run personally. I don't see why it can't do.
I don't think they are pulling the plug on it at all but maybe setting more boundaries on it..and when they are paying out the full amount for peoples shopping trolley/s then its already got a bit too much and the rules needs tweaking.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
But only items on the price checker are included and without the price checker you can't see which are included.
If the item is on both websites then it will be included. I emailed tesco to ask why an oil of olay product had shown up as NF when it was blatantly on asdas website (i sent a link) and the response was apologetic and said that I could claim dtd via the email team and they'd post a voucher If I bought it and it didn't show on dtd claim. Therefore I believe (but won't be held responsible lol) that providing products are on both websites that they will honour dtd. Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -

That seems to me to be a myth that had come about on this site.
The t&c's clearly states:
Does the price guarantee apply to all products? Which products are excluded?
All comparable grocery products are included. The Tesco Price Team work hard to ensure as many products as possible are included so we can share our Prices with customers but some products cannot be matched due to significant size or quality differences.
......
So if its on the asda website and is sold in my tesco then I'm covered.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
Personally I dont think the offer has been pulled. I think it is a case of they have took down the price checker to give them time to make sure there prices are equal or less than asdas.
Once they have confirmed that and updated the prices in all the stores then the pricechecker will come back online and they will issue the vouchers.
I can also see a lot more multibuy offers being put on in T's to stop people just buying multiples of one item and getting the DTD.
This way they can keep the offer running with minimum outlay on vouchers.
They have spent to much money on tv campaigns and store advertisements to cut it completely.0 -

This is one area which I am really unsure about, especially meats but also veg and fruit. Are all of these definitely covered?0 -

Morning all
I'm new to this thread but not to MSE. I did my first DTD shop last Saturday late afternoon and received the email Sunday lunchtime so the 36hrs definitely includes the weekend0
