Just let us know, what the CS says please. I'm also waiting for my DTD voucher to spend it again today. If they don't send it, I'm going to the ASDA like usually, and never again Tesco.0

I think it's a shame there is so much scaremongery on here, they are not pulling the promotion at all, and the price checker has had alot more subcategories put in for comprehensive searching so I think it's safe to say whilst they modify the search layout they need to take all comparisons out and load them back in again, they would not add more subcategories if they were pulling it so to speak. Not sure why eveyone is getting so worried?
I'm still awaiting my voucher avidly, but maybe 36 hours does not include weekends, has anyone ever received one on a friday before, or has the promotion just been introduced. It may well be normal to wait until monday.Comping wishlist for 2017

This is the problem, it appears that tesco T&Cs state that they will compare comparable items (being no more than 10% different in size or weight - same brand, etc), but obviously if it hasnt been on their pricechecker then they have not given DTD, so in theory Tescos can now just say what they like. There is nothing there to hold them to account if you could have paid a cheaper price in Asda.
If the price checker is down then i would say, and i do not think i am alone in thinking this, that the tescos DTD offer is dead and buried. Nobody should trust it if they have nothing comparing their own prices!
i think were panicking they are still advertising it on the television so they could be done for false advertisements. but people have been abusing the offer just like the vouchers ,so it ruins it for everyone. ive brought items but still brought my usual shop as well but ive seen people just buying trolleys full of wine and baileys which takes the biscuit really ....0 -
Really daft question but why haven't any of us done this to mr A they compare all branded products if i'm correct and 10% back if they not cheaper, might not be as able to get high voucher amounts but still could be worth it. Whoever mentioned fathers day I bought southern comfort yesterday to put away cause can't see this lasting long the way it is!!To get to Disneyland Florida 20160

T's are still making a killing on this. People ( on here ) have temporarily stopped shopping at A's because of it. People have picked up other items and shopped whilst they are there. They wont lose anything on this.
this is very true, we never shop in tesco, always asda. and yes i had intentions of abusing this promotion, but i have also had to pay out the first time to get anything back, and at the moment i would be just breaking even. also we have picked up other 'normal' things while weve been in tesco. that money wouldve all gone to asda if this promotion werent on.
just had a thought, maybe they are making it so you cant claim anything back from a shop where you have used a voucher to pay?0 -
Again, i do not think the offer has been pulled, i think the price checker website itself has been pulled so you cannot check the items before you shop
I check whilst I shop by using the asda groceries site via my mobile whilst in tesco so their is no way they can fob me off.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Some of us have to do this. My new diet consists of Iams mixed with Baileys 3 times a day.0 -
Im not overreacting, i dont think the offer has been pulled, i think the price checker website has been pulled to stop people from only shopping for DTD items they know they can claim on. They are well within their rights to do so, it just means its not really that trustworthy!
The whole point of it is so we can check their prices against Asda.
Yes, they may pull the pricechecker site but I highly doubt it. They may be making modifications to the T&Cs.
I said in an earlier post that this promotional idea hasn't just been plucked out of the air and implemented, it will be a well thought out promotion covering all sorts of scenarios. They will also be fully aware of the savvy shoppers who know how to take full advantage of these promotions.
I've seen a lot of posts like "they are onto us"....what exactly are they on to? This isn't a glitch in their system....if it was I would be a little bit worried but I honestly don't think there is anything to be concerned about!0 -

They couldn't be done for false advertsing if they are still offering DTD, they just wouldnt be making it as easy.0
