so what's the position with phones received - all the paperwork refers to £99.
I have tried to clear my (new) account on line this morning but it's still showing the £99 balance owing - so I am not convinced they are going to apply it. The phone has been used so will Grattan be calling me for the extra £49 (which I am not willing to pay) and will they be happy to take it back in that case?

Your balance will remain the same, any payments you made today will not show up immediately, probably tomorrow

Seems the 6111 doesn't have great reviews.

I used to have a 6111, have to say I wasn't keen, the slide goes up far to easily.. a nightmare if you have it in your pocket.. the camera and the sound are very crappy.. got rid and got a 6320i, this is much better.. but even on this the camera doesn't compare to my daughters Samsung D600..

I honestly couldn't tell you, but in my opinion if you have already had the phone and activated it then no they shouldn't chase for extra money
  • was phoned and told about suppliers not delivering then or something so i said its my first order and its not like its for £20 its £300 and if they can even get that right it doesnt fill me with confidence so ill have my account closed. so the order was canceled after trying to get me to have the £149 pack

Just had the call too. Daughter won't be happy. Put aup a fight but sales girl wouldn't budge. Was offered the E370 pink and the Nokia 6111 £99.99 each or the E900 with accessories for £149, told her daughter wanted the E900 but couldn't afford the £149 as I would then have to spend the same on my other children. No joy though!
All my savings are going on the family holiday!

Off to Majorca again this year ;-)
  • just been phoned as well, very nice lady on the phone who offered the acc pack and phone for £149, i accepted as its taken so long to sort out a new phone and i do need a new phone! will get acc pack for nothing although im sure its not worth £80 lol.

I wont pay that much for the 6111.

Only other options thats will be a good bargain are

    Samsung, D900
    LG Chocolate
    Nokia N Series
    Sony Eric W810 / 850 etc

They are probabaly going to offer phones in under 100 range. Which you can by around 80 from other shops.

Dont accept any offer. Tell them you will think about it.

Boo hoo just received my phone call. Not interested in the other phones, nor did I want to pay £149. I feel I have made a saving of £99 because I did not really need the phone in any case, it was only a fancy. It has been a fun thread to follow. Well done to the early birds.
