Grattan catalogue printing error - E900 pink bargain!!!

Danio,but i av a letter with my order on it stating that i can av these E900's mobiles for £80 each when they come in stock and a letter stating there was a misprint in their catalogue and i can av these E900's for £149.99.

Please can any1 help me on what to put on the county court claim form so i know what to sue freeman's for and so i don't mess the claim up.

can claim for loss of bargain - but think it only applies when payment has been taken - which it hasnt I believe for these phones. A contract is only formed when the payment has been taken.

I took B&Q to court and won about 1 year ago - sued for loss of bargain due to their stuck up attitude. They settled it before it went to court - LOL they even employed a solicitor who totally contradicted themselves - good have got a shimp to write a better defence! :rotfl:

Pricy147,so do i just put loss of bargain on the claim form,is there anything else i should put on the claim form so i won't mess the claim up?

If i can claim money back in compensation what is the amount i can claim back?... as i ordered 5 of these E900 at £80 each which came to £400 but freemans never took the money from my credit card.

I found out on another site(trying to find this site) that if freemans have a certain system what takes the money from my credit card...even if they don't debit my card then it is still classed as a binding contract.

I got 5 acc pks today and it says on my invoice that phones are to follow,i hope i get the phones.

i still havent heard anything since my letters. By the time they release the phones they probably will be worth £80

I just got 5 samsung E900 pink mobiles today,5 Acc pks the other day which i ordered on 25/11/06.
Freemans are only getting £80 each for the phones as i av a letter from freemans stating this price,cheers freemans.

I got mine on tuesday, i love it, it isnt open to any network like some were saying in earlier posts, i tried a virgin sim in mine and it wouldn't work.

Did you ring them up before when you got your letter as i havent heard anything from them.
Just spoke to them and they are saying nobody got a phone this week, can anyone give me a name of someone you spoke to as i think i've binned the letter
