Stay strong - you will get through this. I also agree with intranicity on the data protection, even if the cr check shows br they should not be able to 'blab' that to your boss and if they do I'm sure fermi or one of our other more experienced forum members will be able to draft you a strongly worded letter showing them the error of their ways.

you lot are going to be so proud of me :)
ive come clean on everything and said "if you want to get rid of me then i can understand that" to which my boss laughed and said i dont think theres any need for that.
i think i will sleep better tonight as i now am 100% sure that being a bankrupt isnt a bad thing at all.
    thanks for everyones advice.
i couldnt have done this without you :) :T
  • Wow - I've been reading this thread on generations for you.

I know I'm just a stranger but I'm so proud that you had the courage to stand up and tell your boss, i can just imagine the elation that you are feeling now.

You're a credit to your firm and have provedthat by overcoming what I imagine must be a huge fear.
  • i am so totally delighted for you, now it really is a clean sleight.
Sending you if i could a bottle of bubbly.

your post has so cheered me up and is a credit to you.

We spend out life in secret pre and post BR so my worries for you not coming clean were really genuine and i could see the stress it was causing.
You will sleep for a week.

See you were worrying over nothing as I said before, if your boss was that bothered about you being BR in the past, he would have asked you on your first day :)

I'm so chuffed for you :beer:  well done

It's always worse worrying about a fear than confronting it and dealing with whatever consequence it brings.
I'd also guess you are so good at what you do partly because you've been through br and learnt to be smart with money
    all the best :j

  • Does this mean that myself and other insomniacs will have one less person to post to lol

Glad it worked out for you, loads of needless stress and worry.... Best thing though is that you now know that your boss really is a good guy :)
