i thought that to be honest strawbs....

i did start typing questions and printing them, cutting them up but it looked really scrappy.... so ive handwritten the questions on the right hand side and have left the LEFT hand side for pictures and scrapbooky type things. i really dont like seeing writing come through page from behind it if you get me.

What is the HP scrap assistant? sounds good

oooooh I am a keen scrapbooker and this is a great thread!! I ma making a scrapbook for my daughters and am going to give it to them when they are older. I try to add a page whenever I can, you can make a memory page about anything, first tooth, days out holidays, christmas's Birthdays etc. I keep all sorts of mementoes and incorporate these into my pages, e.g hats from christmas crackers, entry tickets to places, postcards, menus, gift tags the list is endless.

but sometimes keeping it simple is just as effective (see photo) I have done some varied and wild pages but this is one of my favourites as its so simplistic.

I try to keep a paper and magazine for each one of there birthdays and the number 1 single that day as well, so they can see how fashion and music etc changes over the years. Perhaps try and get hold of a copy of what was number 1 when they were born using this website

I absloutely love doing this trouble is I have nearly filled up 2 scrapbooks already and they are only 2 and 5 months hehe!

If anyones got any questions please ask

    xx

    enjoy your memory making!

Its the Hewlett Packard scrapbook assistant.

its a program where you can add backgrounds, tags.borders and photographs. print out the pages and make the scrapbook.
I found some old pics of my mum n dads wedding day etc so i scanned them in added them to thier wedding page and hey presto no glue no mess not cutting

im sure there are better programmes out there but im quite happy with it

  • kimmywim I think that page looks beautiful. If you keep adding pages does that mean all the pages are totally different designs and styles? I've seen loads of the scrapbook sets where the whole book matches and think they look gorgeous but I know i'll want to keep addign to any books I make for little ones and family so never get round to collecting lots of matching bits and starting one. If a scrapbook would still lok great with every page design being totally different from the other I could do a page whenever I get energy/urge

Also I have acid/lignin free a4 paper in different styles. If I used these to make my odd pages will i be able to get a scrapbook that a. takes this size page and b. will allow me to add (within reason) as many pages as i like and move them around?

  • Ok,

My three daughters are 56 years old (added together).
I've just been through my loft space and found every school report, drawing, certificate, birthday card etc. that I've saved over the years. i have 8 large boxes!!!

I want to make each of them:
    a scrapbook
    (or several)
and a memory box for the bigger items (things they've made, babygros, their last primary school shirt (signed) etc.

Where on earth do I start?
Can someone point me in the direction of recommended scrapbooking kits or boxes.

I'd like to start quite soon ... I think this may take quite some time :)
    de do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar ;)
