High Postage

was the first ebay message he send me.Hi,
you won the item for £33, total paid £40, if you want to send it back i will refund your postage in full. I am selling these at a loss, the £7 postage helps cover some of that loss, as i said, if your not happy, send it back and someone else can get this product cheaply. The packaging gets thrown away, just like at Christmas, why waste money ?
kind regards
was the second ebay message he send me.Hi,
more out of date data cards sell on ebay of £70-£85 plus p&p. Mine are the cheapest on ebay, you paid £40 INCLUDING p&p, is the idea on ebay to make a profit ???? Again i say, if your not happy, send it back for a full refund, don't resort to feedback silly comments.
thanx
But I asked him about something and he was wrong in the item and he send me
This was 26 October, even if he took some of the postage offf, I would be happy.Hi,
can i thank you for bringing to my attention an error in the listing.
The item i am selling is NOT the MERLIN U530, i put wrong photo and weblink, it is defintely the OPTION GLOBE TROTTER FUSION.
If you are still interested and win the acuction, please remind me and i will send for free postage.
thanx again
So how would I leave as feedback. High Postage for just paper to product the item or what would you put.0 -
Honestly.
You knew how much the postage was.
You didn't bother to ask WHAT the postage material was.
Your item arrived safely.
If you left me a neg, or a snide comment in the above circumstances I'd consider you petty, to say the least. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Just start using the data card and get on with the rest of your life. Christ, your computer will have used £7 of electricity by the time you've finished with this dilemma. Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.0

Hi - Just a gentle Board Guide reminder...
Please remember to be nice to other Moneysavers. There is no such thing as a stupid question and even if you disagree, courtesy helps.

#53 & #54.... Spot on. I'm sure the OP is a charming chap, but really... I sell books on eBay (1600+ feedback if anyone's interested), and my listings contain the usual don't bid if you don't like the costs warning.
Some of the posters on this thread really do seem to be suffering from a lack of daylight.
Perhaps I could interest some of them in a consignment of water damaged umbrellas? Let me know...:rotfl:If in doubt - do something. (With fond memories of Harry Chapin)0 -
is this thread still going- why??!!
YOU SAW THE POSTAGE COST AND BID- YOUR ITEM GOT TO YOU SAFELY- YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED A REFUND

I am going to left -ve feedback for him and it will teach him, if he is selling these at a loss why not have a reserved on them or BIN. Its not my fault that he is a cheap person.0

The question is - did it arrive safely by the method you agreed?
If so, no problem. Would you rather pay £5 + £1 postage for something or £1 + £5 postage for the same item?
The packaging is totally up to the seller - after all, if it arrives damaged, it is he who has to replace it.
You seem to have a hang-up about jiffy bags - in reality, anything that relies on magnetic dataa should have been sent in an electrostatic bag to protect it from the PO's equipment and other people who send magnets in the post. In fact, to be really safe, you should have picked it up yourself.
As others have said - you paid, you got, what's the problem.Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.0 -

At least he is not moaning.
Can I have your EBay ID so I can block you from bidding on any of my items?0 -

Can I have yours so I dont look at your stuff. Anyway I have the right to complain, if a main shop such as amazon just send the item on with only wrapping paper and you paid for postage (before the supersaver) then you would be complain. And I just asked a simple question you dont have to be rude about it asking for details.0
