And once a Contract has Finished usually they will transfer over to current Traiffs which match your current tarrif's plans,
How does a "for life" contract finish?
And what is with people randomly capitalizing words? Not just you, I had an email conversation recently with someone who seemed to misunderstand the rule for capitalizing "I" and capitalized the initial "i" in every word beginning with "i"...0 -

Good for you. This is a forum for saving money and advice not a national teaching Grammar forum.

As for the other Subject
"Pay Up Front" and "Pay Up Front for Life" customers must transfer to an eligible plan to take up the offer. Please note, on transfer, any outstanding pre-paid line rental will be lost, and customers will unable to return to a Pay Up Front offer.

In the You and Yours radio programme of 5th May a professor of law (sorry, name not to hand at present) talked about meanings of lifetime contracts and lifetime guarantees. He too used the expressed "for the life of the contract" but I would like to know if a contract is "for life" (as in the case of PUFFLs) how does this differ. Guess we may never know.
Keep fighting, Virgin 11. Also send a programme recommendation to Watchdog. I have done this. The more people that do so, the more likely they are to pick up on it. See their webpages for forms. Good luck.0 -
O2 today have put me back on PUFFL thank you to all, especially GA.With o2 you have to have plenty of background info otherwise they will try and back out of these contracts. If all of us stick together we can play o2 at there own game of divide and conquer,as the last time i spoke to o2 they said we make nothing on these contracts and we are here to make money, this should keep us all fighting for our rights, thanks again.0

I am having the same problem with O2 and they have refused to stick to my up front for life package, they wrote last year and said they were changing me to a line advance package and they would credit the 12 month line retail each year.
This year they say they cannot do this so they changed me to simplicity at £10 per month which I have refused.
I will be issuing proceedings against them for breach of contract tomorrow and compensation for line rental for the rest of my life based on uk stats for life expectancy.
In order to assist me, does anyone have the original BT Cellnet up front for life terms and conditions?
Thanks in advance.0 -

Just curious how you can take them to court for breach of contract, when you haven't got a copy of the contract? Genuine question.0

I am sure that they will disclose a copy of the terms they consider are in effect when, and if, we get to that stage in any event.0
