Gosh, Scrounger household. How on earth have you got away with that? Are you still on 50 minutes to landlines only? I think this just proves that when they bump people off PUFFLs it is genuinely in error (ha ha). Anyway, good luck to you. Long may it last and you know where to go should it prove necessary.
Yes, I was offered free replacement phones for the first few years of the contract - possibly right up until 2007, I think. I didn't always accept them, and in the last year I was told I could have a £20 voucher for my choice of High St shop if I didn't want a phone. Declined the phone but didn't receive the voucher either, but never chased it up. I think other people wondered where their vouchers had got to judging by comments on the forums.
Still waiting to hear from O2. I want to print off and frame their apology and hang it in my toilet!
And Colin, no apology necessary. Nice to have a conversation.:j

Dead easy - we have simply used them on a daily basis (for the last 10 years or so).

... landlines and O2 mobiles. And we still have FREE (non-itemised) paper bills sent every month!

Thanks for the update; I'll be contacting R4 'You &Yours' if we encounter any problems in the future, for sure.

Hi Colin (I notice you're on line) and Scrounger household. Well done to you. I wonder if you are the only two PUFFL contract holders left in the whole world. long may your contracts continue. By the way, do you get charged for texts?
I'm still waiting for my apology and credit..............

I've held two PUFFLs since...I can't remember since when. They're only occasionally used now (moved to a village with poor o2 reception), but I like to keep the sims active against a rainy day, and force the occasional short chargeable call so as to keep the direct debits alive.

I received free upgrade phones in 2009 and 2010 following mention of the anomaly on these fora, and await with baited breath any communication from o2 on the anniversaries of the upgrades. I seem to recall that correspondence referred to "no change in your line rental", but can't find the letters now.

I have two o2 pufl cards and have been told they have been cancelled after being moved to alltime 75 last year as my tariff was no longer available.

Anyone have a copy of the original terms and conditions of the bt cellnet pufl £99 50 mins tariff as i have written a letter of complaint to o2 asking for a deadlock letter and intend to take it further.

The problem you have hear is that Bt Cellnet is no longer around, BT Cellnet was the start of 02 was Called BTcellnet because they shared the exchange with BT in the early days until they seperated and became two compaanies who are now O2 and are owned the americian Firm Telephoinca

Im a ex Employee For 02, I worked at Preston Brook Equipment site and contact centre and bury call centre. Manchester

And once a Contract has Finished usually they will transfer over to current Traiffs which match your current tarrif's plans,
