Mike, just a few comments to try to help.

The work you are doing on the media front is spot on. From what has gone on, I suspect that the DCM reprobates are hoping and may even have planned for this episode to drift gently into the long grass so that they can get away to swindle another day. By selling the database to Cleardebt, it is possible that many people will get the approach letter from them and think that all is well and that it is just an administrative change. You have the letter so can easily judge if that could be the case. Your publicity efforts can stop that happening and get people who have been affected to take steps to get this into the open. It is highly likely that the Administrators would have access to that database and could help you to make contact with affected customers, so maintain contact with them and use them to help get things into the open. If they do have or can get the database, they could send out letters to everyone giving them the whole story. Just make sure you find out who has appointed the administrators to make sure they are independent.

Not sure about the Facebook idea. I am not a fan of Facebook because it tends to attract people who are less careful about protecting their identity than on other sharing media. Some people, me included, will not use it because of the risk of loose talk causing identity problems On the plus side, it is used very widely and could grow your action group quickly. If you go the Facebook route, make sure you use the security features in it to stop anyone not involved with their debts in DCM from getting routine access to the chat areas. Also encourage people to use aliases that cannot easily identify themselves or their addresses - and exposing email addresses is an absolute no-no. The fact that people using anything you create could inadvertently identify themselves as being in debt could leave them open to contact from undesirables, so you will all have to be very aware of that. It could be that a dedicated and moderated forum either using this forum or by creating a free one using such as "www.freeforums.org" would be better.

Keep up the good work and best of luck.

  • Thanks for the advice guys

have spoken to people affected by phone today.

Facebook cause we were olny going to use as a means of directing people affected by DCM onto this forum.

Your right so many people are going to think that this is just an admin change not realising that the position that they THINK they are is not the case.

The fact of the matter is that who ever we speak to it becomes an ever increaing obvious case the DCM have paid the bear minimal of peoples debt. figures range from a couple of hundred pounds to a couple of thousand pounds depending on how much the original debt was but it is consistantly a very low perecentage of the original debt.

The fact is that it appears that people appear to me in the nearly the same position as they were originally despite supply vast sums of money to these people.

To all on here affected, PLEASE do not make the assumption that all is fine. Investigate, run your credit report, total it up. Speak to your creditors they will give you an idea of your payment history.

Through speaking to people i have some more help but i need more. Do not let these people get away with this and also the group of people now formed will all be driving this forward. We can help everyone if we stick together.

Being on your own through this is not where anyone should be, trust we have all been there, we have gone through this and are now strong enough to help pull others through it.

We want to get a even stronger core together so these directors do not ride over the sunset without paying for the crimes they have committed.

These people wanted something for free, we want to give them something that is free, its the one place we all know of its HMP, lets drive this so that they get some time at "Her Majesty's Pleasure"

  • Mike the motto of the CCE Action Group is 'Together we are stronger' which is apt.

The Facebook warning was given as a result of their Facebook group and problems there were with that, so it's from experience.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

OK, the correct office for the administrators is the Southampton one given below by Shaney.

the HJS email address to use is

    apexdcm@hjsrecovery.co.uk

People who are creditors of DCM will have to contact the administrators, but I would urge you to speak to one of the organisations mentioned in previous posts before you do

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=136

You should also make yourself known to Mike, email exposedcm@gmail.com , and join the group of creditors who have got together to help each other, see the preceding post from Grumps.
