I'm lost for words how scum like this can get away with it ! i am in contact with apex recovery ..... and luckily my debtors have been quite understanding about the situation ..... except that is for MBNA they have given me a real hard time and actually made me cry on the phone. I feel so sorry for people who have lost 3 or even 4 times what i have lost. I am seeking legal advice and will keep posting .......
take no notice of MBNA, they are horrid and are NOT allowed to bully and harass you! tell them they are breaking the law in doing so and if they continue you will report them to the relevant authority. If you request that they stop calling you and communicate in writing then that is what the have to do, stand strong! ask for the callers name and inform them that you are also recording the callIf you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j0 -

What ClearDebt said, Quote "Apex DCM customers who decide not to move to ClearDebt need do nothing. The consequences will be that their creditors will become aware that their plan has ceased when no more payments are received from Apex on your behalf"
Why are they assuming that creditors were actually being paid ???? what a bunch of Beeeeeeeps...0 -
I have just been on the phone to Hampshire Police (my local constabulary) and after explaining my predicament and the volume of people this has involved they have arranged for a Statement of Complaint to be recorded from me this afternoon, where it will then be 'CRIMED' and forwarded to Nottinghamshire Constabulary for investigation. I have explained that Notts have turned people away however Hants are admant that a Criminal Investigation should and must take place.
I found the Police to be extremely sympathetic and despite having no appointments until next week they are sending someone specifically to my house today!
I hope everyone affected telephones their respective Constabulary and makes a formal statement of complaint.
This is FRAUD and is a CRIME simple... we are all victims and I will keep you posted .
