This is getting too much to cope with now, constantly checking emails and waiting for the phone to ring is driving me round the twist grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr We have a damn right to our files so we can see whats what.. cant we all bombard the administrators, in my eyes they are getting away with far too much keeping us in the dark..0

Just a quick post... Clear debt have my file and wanted me to take on an IVA which would not suit my circumstances for lots of reasons, he let it slip as he was advising me that they have taken over all APEX DCM clients with a view to try and achieve 1 in 3 clients take on an IVA (which they charge you for)... although they do offer free DMP but that will be handled by ABACUS Financial Service... I know ABACUS have been around for very long time... are they recommended?
My file is with clear debt (luckily) and they can get my plan resumed in days with a hundred percent of my payment going toward the debt (kick in the ****s I know) but I am interested if anyone on here thinks Clear Debt are another DCM in the waiting?0 -
Rob this is what abacus had to say to me yesterday :-
Hi Shane
I have been passed your email to respond to and i see you would like a copy of your file to see who you owe and how much is outstanding?
We do not have the actual file but we have a few details on spreadsheet format, if you would like to give me a call on 01619058812 we could discuss some details and options for you
Many thanks
Michael Jordan
Take note, do not have actual file ummmmmmmmmm is that because administrators have it or has it been shredded ?????0 -
Hmmm... not good Shaney... I am smelling rats already!0

After being screwed over by idiots (Being Polite Again, Damn i Must Stop) who in their right mind would want to trust anyone trying to fob you off with a DMP or IVA other than Quote " A Reputable Company" that Grumps and many others have mentioned...Also If i see another Tv add saying get out of debt the quick way, i tell thee i will bloody screammmmmmmmmmmmmmm....0

As Mike says....
'I own a garage , I sell Rolls Royce cars, someone comes to me wants to buy a new Roller, they have £500, they tell me a sob story, I let them have the Roller for £500. My next move? The bankruptcy court'
Debt Management companies are in business for one reason, to make a profit from your suffering, please don't let them.
Don't be taken in by anything they tell you.
To be sure yourself ask them for a copy of anything they want you to sign and go through it with a fine toothcomb. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
Grumps,
I went through everything with a fine tooth comb and these people got me.
i thought i did enough research into these scumbags, boy was i wrong.
To everyone, do not stop with checking the company out. Find out who the directors are and check them also.
Thats what i did wrong, i stopped with the company. Did think to check out the directors.
Oh and keep on checking just incase they change any.
