just got a question about sport on BT vision...
we are getting bt fibre bb install on Friday and still didnt decide what to do with tv, we cancelled sky and free to sign a new contract with BT but I'm confused after reading some of the posts here about sports channels, we would be happy with old type bt vision box and espn but dont want to sign into 12 months contract if from Sep there wont be any sports on it... as dont see a point of paying £12/month for freeview and some on demand library that we wont be probably watching...
will be they able to add this extra sport on you view kind of like TT is doing?
hope my post make some sense:o

Yes your post makes sense.
You will still get the sports channels, streamed over your fibre broadband connection. But the future of ESPN is unknown. Indeed, it's looking likely they are going to withdraw from the UK TV market, as their CEO has said they are now looking for 'Exit options'. Which is no surprise, as the loss of the Premier League and the Rugby hit them hard, where being a viable commercial operation is concerned.0 -
Bt vision tv packages. I've just changed my bt package to include a tv package from essential to lite with free ESPN can anyone tell me what the other channels I get will be. I stupidly forgot to ask.0

BTVison Lite is not an advertised package. Indeed, I'm surprised they offered it to you.
It includes -
Free ESPN and one viewing pack only. With no access to the catch up TV services. How much did they charge you for this? As the essentials Pack is only £5 a month. Which seems cheap enough in itself.0 -
Hi, £7.50. Think I 've been duped. Should of stuck with the essentials package.0

It all depends on what you want.
Would you prefer catch up TV only (£5 Essentials) or no catch up TV but have one viewing pack and ESPN? (£7.50 Lite) Or have full access to the lot? (£12.50 Unlimited).0 -
