  • Hi,

This has probably been asked before, but I can't find it. How do you make the flannel cupcake things and what do you use for the case part?

I really want to make some of these for Christmas.

    TIA.

That sounds good :D . There isn't really an ASDA near to me though. :(

Closest one is 45 miles from home. 15 miles from the town I work in though. May head up there closer to Christmas, as I have done in previous years. They always have lots of nice Christmassy stuff.

If someone can give me a shout when their Christmas stuff is out I'd appreciate it, or maybe I'll head up later in the month.

Nessa stop panicking! I am here again to help ... you can get them here £3 each ... although expensive...

alternatively I found this ... again expensive -

Failing that if you are feeling a little bit nice you can follow directions and make some yourself ... (of course that is the MSE way ;))

I found the answers on this site

If you scroll down there is someone selling them wholesale for £19.99 for 162 ... worth looking into maybe? then you could add some to other hampers etc? or personalise them yourself or sell some on ebay? lol

    I know the feeling!

By the way - Tescos for about 57p are Dora the Explorer bubble bath with like a semi hollow area where they have put a squeezable bath toy. I thought it would be perfect for a hamper or gift so good intentions gone to pot already. However I used £5 in printable coupons / money so don't feel too bad... They still had all the cakey stuff cheap too so I picked up silver balls for 9p, fruity diamonds for 12p and sugar strands for about 12p too!

I got one of the cupcake trays at the weekend from H&B and thought of you all. I thought I would use it for DDs cake making hamper - she could use the tray to improve hygiene when baking and limit the mess!:rotfl: It will also make her pressie stash look bigger all for the sake of 99p!

Eventually managed to get to Home Bargains today and so glad I did I managed to get loads for the boys for Christmas. Whilst I was there I noticed they had these lovely cupcake trays which would be great for some hampers. They were only 99p each so I picked up a couple.
