  • Thanks guys, things will be fine, OH has taken over and stopped me from ignoring it all.

Cut a long story short my Ex (my sons real dad) stopped seeing him when we moved up to the north east. he is dragging me back through the courts and trying to make me travel so he can see his son and also demanding he has split custody and has him every christmas etc. Not taking into account I have my daughter etc. I recieved the letter and just broke down. My son saw him for the first time a couple of weeks ago (first time in 7 months) but in all of this he is pushing to have full custody and I just can't bear the thought of someone like him looking after my son as he is only doing it to spite me :( That ontop of everything else is just about destroying me. so if I upset anyone on here then I apologise now as my mind isn't on my replys at the minute but the posts and crafty things are keeping me sane at the moment.

Sorry for ranting ... off for a cuppa and a cuddle with my babies xxx

    i'm sending you hugs

Sure I saw some in the 99p/£1 shop, but I doubt they'd be very good at that price. How about Robert Dyas or Woolies?

Thinking of you Rusty. :grouphug: Sounds like you've had a really rough day. Your OH sounds like a really good guy, good job your with him and not your ex anymore! Even if it means you have to go through this sort of hassle. I'm confident it'll all work out for you. Good things do happen to good people.

Anyway, after reading through all your brilliant suggestions I thought it was about time I shared some of my ideas incase they can help someone out with ideas :p

My nan absolutely loves Baileys so I'm going to do her a Baileys themed hamper. I'm going to spend a little more than I would on others because she's lovely and deserves it.

I'm going to get her a big bottle of Baileys (we've got a Macro card so hopefully I can get a bottle cheaper there), a box of Baileys truffles (seen them in Tesco for £4.99 - hopefully find them cheaper elsewhere too).

Gonna get her a couple of glasses to drink from (maybe some of those glass coffee ones)! I thought I might make her some Baileys flavoured fudge myself and put it in a nice bag or box and then put together and print out the recipe for a Baileys latte for her.

Finally I'm going to wrap it all in Baileys colours (dark brown tissue paper, burgundy, green and gold curling ribbon) so she doesn't know what things are before she opens them.
