rainmac - thanks for the teddy reindeer link - feel verytempted to get one to add to baby grandsons 'christmas eve' box.
I'm being a bit DIY (call it 'meanie') with my snowman soup.............just going to put a chocolate sachet in a christmas mug (sure I've got one with a snowman on somewhere) with somemarshmallows.........printed out a label from internet and I'll put it in a cellophane bag.
Reindeer food is going is cellophane bag inside emoty gravy granule tub with some gold paper round the outside and a label stuck on it.
Actually - might put the snowman soup in another empty gravy granule tub then my son can keep them year after year.
Not meanie Mary, just money saving! You sound like you get through a lot of gravy :rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I'll second that - make sure you get some help and advice, don't try to deal with it on your own xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Rusty, so wish I lived round the corner to give you a big hug and make that blooming cuppa for you. I'd then jump in the car and knee your ex where it hurts. God I so feel for you. Sorry to sound boring now but are you getting proper advice? Citizens Advice would be able to point you in the right direction.
We were in court a few weeks ago, I cried the whole way through it as he lied so much in the various reports and it just really upset me. Couldn't afford legal advice, but now OH is on a different wage we should qualify for legal aid but until he gets a pay slip through I can't go to any solicitors. We have already been down the court route once before but this time he is being backed by the fathers for justice ...(shame he doesn't climb a big building and slip) and he is throwing so much more into it. As much as I moan about my OH he is a darling. I sent him an email that just said bad news can you call with a sad face and he was straight on the phone calming me down, he now has copys of the letter and is writing a letter for me to send back to them (he is good with words) This is the same man that has brought my son up for the last couple of years and does everything for him, he treats both children the same and treats my son as his own. Think the problem I have is that I see words like residency orders and christmas and everything flys out of the window and I just panic thinking I am going to loose him. My ex has on 2 occasions called social services out (both times they were here 30 mins then said it was malicious and closed the case and now he is doing this.
I just want it to all go away and for him to see that all he is doing is hurting his son
Thanks for all the support. you are all very kind and I really appreciate it.

Oh rusty I feel I want to hug you (((((((:o ))))))))))) - sorry, best I can do.
My son is lucky that at least his ex allows him fortnightly contact with my teenage grandchildren and always has done. There's been the odd time when she's changed her mind at the last minute and christmases that have gone **** up (he thought he was having them then she took them away) but now they're older they can decide for themselves.
I'm sure it'll all come good Rusty .........have a rant and a sob if you feel like it (lets face it we all do from time to time for various reasons).
Least you've got mates here to support you.............xxMary
