  • Dont forget to take a look at car boots for baskets I always find some beautiful ones for less than a £1. While you're there look for beauty and toiltries brand new that people have received as unwanted pressies always so cheap.
Every year I then have a variety of different baskets to give to friends/family and they all look more individual than all being the same.
  • This year I am making various retro sweet hampers. I am hopefully including the following:
sherbet fountain, Raindrops, Fiz Wizz, Love hearts, Drumsticks, Dipdab, Double Dip, Double lollies, Candy lipstick, Candy whistle, Dolly beads, flying saucers, Refreshers, Fruit Salads, Black Jacks, Jazzies, White mice, Fish and chips, Cherry Lips, chomp, fudge, curly wurly.

Well I am going to try and get as many of them as possible. For the loose items I have got some clear cellophane sweet bags.

moneysavingmumofone .... I'm doing movie hampers for my brother (and family) and my sister (and family) too. I bought a pack of 8 popcorn holders on ebay for £1.95 (& p&p), which can go in each hamper. They are a bit like the red boxes that Mcdonalds chips come in, but they are stripey and say Popcorn on them ;) , I just thought it would make the night a bit more authentic for them if they all have their own popcorn packet :D:D
    Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
    Mortgage Overpayments Pot £1079

  • I've just been looking through this thread, there are some great ideas on here! I have already got lots of stuff for Christmas as I've been trying to spread the cost throughout the year, but I'll certainly keep some of the ideas in mind for birthdays next year

Father in law - Usually gets a basket of bath stuff anyway.

Mother in law - got her a lovely Angel Wish Box and worry stone, will get some shower gel (she is bloody picky though), some chocks and focus on the presentation.

My Mummy - will get a 'luxery de-stress shower kt', so far, nice shower gel and scrub, face mask, hair mask, socks, slippers. Will get a nice bottle of perfume too, she deserves it.

My Dad - Not quite decided yet.

Neices - pink video storage box (poundstretcher £2 each, 3 for 2) and the stuff (bratz stationary set, book, girly hair stuff) is almost all purple! Just got a lip balm and some bits to get.

Connie and Ziggy - horses, feed bucket (or bucket from B£Q/poundland etc) bucket mate for their grooming stuff, treats.

Will take pictures as I make them up, got a good deal from Ebay for cello, 20mt for £5.50 inc delivery.
