Surely the repair costs of an RR aren't important, he'll be making so much money from drug dealing?
Well, there you go, learn something new everyday. Never realised the late Queen Mum was moonlighting as a dealer!

Yahoo! Cars drives the Queen Mum's Range Rover
You could call it fit for a king - and you wouldn't be far wrong! The Range Rover has had more than its fair share of royal customers past and present, including the Queen, Prince Charles, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew.
    Cripes, they're all at it!!

Didn't see the OP mentioning 'big' or 'wafty'. He wanted something hi-spec for £15k and there it is!

E class Mercedes has to be the choice. Even stretching to S class really. Diesel engines so not too thirsty and all the luxury you could want.

We have a Mercedes C Class 200K - auto, leather seats, etc. It's a nice car to drive but it's not very big inside, and if you ever plan on going out if there's a bit of ice or snow, then forget it. At the end of November/December, I drove for 3 days out of a month. We even got new tyres to see if it would help, but it didn't much. I take it that BMW's are pretty much the same, and the BMW's have no spare wheel and have the run flat tyres, which aren't repairable (our local tyre place has a sign up saying they won't fix them). My husband's friend got a puncture and it cost him £200 as he had to replace the tyre. And also, our neighbour has a new BMW and they had the same problem as us in the snow.

Our last car was an Audi A4, with pretty much the same specs as we have in our present car, but for me personally, I preferred the Audi. It felt sturdier and comfier, and it practically ploughed through the snow!

MMMMM. Supercharged V8 or diesel. Let me think for a nanosecond lol.

That's too long to be considering such a thing :rotfl:

have you actually driven one? I certainly know which I would buy and it wouldn't be a mondeo!

A big Private Hire comany in London, Addison Lee, has a chauffeur circuit, all cars are one driver and changed every three years, they are well serviced and sell them off through their own sales site.

    http://www.addleecarsales.com/

They have sadly justsold the Merc E220CDi they listed last week, but it had just over 110k on it, was a 57 plate in black with autobox and leather, it was up for £10.5k.

If you can get past the fact it was used for work for the first 3 years then you are saving a lot of money, most dealers would hide the history and put the same car up for £13k.

A mate of mine was going to buy one of these Mercs and keep renting his Blackcab, but bought a brand new TX4 instead.

You won't get a cheaper Merc than these ones.

They also sell off their Sharons at around £6k, with lots of life left in them.

A low mileage Merc may sem a great idea, but if you go for low miles then you would be looking at a 54 plate for the same money.

The E220CDi is fairly good on fuel aswell.

If you can stretch your budget to £17-18k then you can get a Jag XF diesel at CarGiant, though for around £10k you have a choice of several diesel S types, if you like the looks then they are a bargain.
