Recommendations for a luxury car
Coming up to 68 years old. Grown up children have left home. I fancy one more change of car before eyesight and old age ends my motoring.
I have always wanted a luxury car. Leather seats, comfort, automatic, every facility at the touch of a button.
Fuel costs are not a problem. I do less than 50 miles a week. Mercedes or BMW are good for me. Secondhand. A model that has the most depreciation. I have about 15k to spend. Your views appreciated.

A Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag of some description?
I'd be tempted to get a BMW 760iL or something equally nutty if you're not concerned about fuel costs though0 -
Test a new generation XJ6 or XJ8 and be very pleasantly surprised.0

Audi A8.....The man without a signature.0

All out of his price range with only 15k, not a lot for an upmarket car.
Ab out all you will get for that is something similar to a Focus style.0 -

Joking no not at all the OP said he wanted an a luxury car with all the bells but he did not state new or used so I based my answer on new which I stand by 15k will only get you a basic new car with very little add-ons.
Now if he wants a used car that is a different matter as a search of ebay motors will throw up plenty of luxury motors for 15k0 -

Even if
(a) the O/P didnt state it in his original post
(b) it hasnt now been highlighted to you in big letters
I'd say it was VERY obvious he meant used.0
