I didn't know that Subway did a salad bowl. Do you just pick from the stuff they've got out for the sandwich fillings? I do try to be very MSE and take something with me when I'm out for the day but it's not always possible. Any other ideas for buying a syn free snack/lunch when you're out and about?

Yeah, it's 50p more than the sandwich price though for some reason

But you can have whatever salad is there, and choose whatever meat you want from the list, some stuff has syns but I think the 'Ham and Turkey' one is free, and chicken tikka is 0.5, and the roast chicken is free on red and 4 syns on green. Tuna mayo is 8 on red and 10 on green. A portion of the cheese is 2 syns.

and if you want some dressings/sauces;

Subway Dressing, Ranch per serving
5 Syns on Extra Easy Original 5 Syns Green 5 Syns

Subway Sauce, Sweet Onion average serving
2 Syns on Extra Easy Original 2 Syns Green 2 Syns
Subway Sauce, Honey Mustard average serving
1½ Syns on Extra Easy Original 1½ Syns Green 1½ Syns

syns ketchup 1 white choc option 2.5 x 2 =5

Dizzy White Chocolate Options is 2 syns per 11g serving - i checked it online the other day as i was worried that i was under-synning after seeing your posts

Green day for me

B - Magic Rice with Cherries
L - Pasta with beans, sweetcorn, mushrooms, onion & passata
D - Pickled onion soup with Scan Bran (heb1)
S - 2 FF activia (mulitpack), Chicken Mugshot, Banana, Hifi (heb2), mashed swede
Hea1 is milk in coffees

If the soup doesn't fill me up i might have 1 or 2 slices of nimble (3 or 6 syns) with 42g reduced fat cheddar (hea1)

Aiming today to drink alot more water or NAS squash

Had a sneaky look at scales Tues morning & yesterday evening - showing a loss of 10lbs - hopefully it will work out by Monday :rotfl: I know i shouldn't do it, but they call my name when i go into the bathroom (alot at the moment IYKWIM!)

Got an Ab circle trainer thing on Tuesday - going to set it up and try it out at weekend! Also got a thing to help with ab crunches - used it once so far, but i don't think i am doing it properly! Need to watch the DVDs at the weekend!

Well done to all losers & good luck for those still to weigh in!

Thanks for that, I'll have to go in and have a look. It's so difficult at times when all you can find on the average High Street is sandwiches, baguettes or yummy pasties!:D

So glad you enjoyed your break dizzy, the treatments sound lovely and you were so lucky with the weather.

Fingers crossed for your sticker MissP and good luck to anyone else weighing in today.

My EE menu:
B: NAS squash, porage HE, banana, tea, HE milk through the day
L: jacket, beans and bacon
D: liver, onions, cabbage, carrots, swede mash and gravy
I'll snack on fruit if I need anything.

Carrots are my fave crunchy snack right now! I usually eat them along with my extra ryvita from my HEB bran flakes. AND they're only 75p for a bag of them cut into sticks, and it usually lasts me around a week :j bargain!

Totally more cost effective then buying the 'apple snack packs' from Mr S like i've been doing recently at 50p each. I can't just have one either, if there are two in the fridge I eat them both!

I know I could buy a bag of apples, but I know they just won't get eaten when they're not already cut up :rotfl:

Just wondered if anyone knew where you can get an apple cuttter thing from? you just push it on top of the apple, and it cores and cuts it into segment in one fell swoop? Or have I just made this thing up haha!

AND CONGRATS ON THE LOSSES THIS WEEK SO FAR :T:T

I would go to get them now, and join after your op

Most doctors are cutting the SWOR scheme out - my doctor did! Get them if you can, you don't loose them! Just join couple weeks after op and start from there!
