    Evening all,

Happy birthday Takeiteasy. Glad you've had a great day, and I believe all food eaten on birthdays is completely syn free!

Glad the op went well SS, and I'm sure you'll get the rest you need now. Stunned they left those 3 nipples on you though, like you'd need any extras?

Well my head is still full of snot, my belly is still grotty, but I won't let the b@ggers get the better of me, even if I can't get to the gym, so I spent the afternoon out in the garden. It was lovely to get some fresh air, I did lots of digging & weeding, getting rather out of breath and warm, so even if I'm not well enough for a gym workout, I am fine for a mother nature workout.

    Food today : EE

B - 4 slices WW wholegrain toast (HeB + 5 syns), flora spread (3 syns), marmalade (2 syns), nectarine
L - Eat Smart Carbonara (1 syn), ham.
D - Pork chop, potatoes, carrots, green beans, sweetcorn, gravy (1 syn)
    heA - milk in teas

A bit syn laden today, but I'm practically out of fruit... the nectarine was somewhat shriveled, but I ate it anyway. Off to the shop tomorrow.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

    Do you have one?

No I don't but if I was ever to get a dog the bichon would be my dog of choice. They are lovely little dogs and so loyal :D

    Lunch
    Subway Salad bowl;
    Tikka chicken chunks (0.5)
    lettuce, peppers and cucumber

I didn't know that Subway did a salad bowl. Do you just pick from the stuff they've got out for the sandwich fillings? I do try to be very MSE and take something with me when I'm out for the day but it's not always possible. Any other ideas for buying a syn free snack/lunch when you're out and about?

I was good today and took a sandwich and a banana. I've found that if you toast the WW bread it gives it more substance when you eat it. Today I had a sandwich with Marmite and a nice thick slice of ham inside. The bread was lighly toasted before I spread the Marmite. It was a bit 'chewy' but I preferred it like that as it took a while to eat. I also toast it when I'm having bread with soup, it's like having a 'free' cracker. I know wholemeal bread is tastier but the lure of 3 slices in a day as a HE persuades me to buy the WW bread.

I've had a good day today, even snacked on melon and apple this evening.

I'll miss my WI tomorrow, just can't get there, but hopefully by next time I'll have undone the flexi days from earlier this week.:o

Lost 5lb this week, reasonably happy with that. I've eaten really well this week, and done a hell of a lot of rowing, so I deserve it. Syn-free week done and another one coming up :D

Thank you BR! I hadn't thought about that (even though I've done it myself lol). I'll point it out to my sister. She's just had her gallbladder out so she's a little off plan at the moment. I do know that you can gift a countdown too so I've mentioned it to my parents. She's still got 2-3 stone to lose and I think she needs the support of group to keep losing.

Minxtress - yes once you get to target you don't have to pay as long as you stay within 3lbs of your target. You may have to be a little sneaky with the consultant as it does mean that they don't get any money. I was honest with mine, but then I've weighed for her since June so I think it's payment in kind really.

Woot - fantastic loss! Well done. Looks like you're back on track :)

Morning everyone. I've been lurking on this thread for a couple of weeks and am amazed by all your wonderful losses week after week. How do you all keep the momentum going when you've been a sw member for a while?

I started my plan mid January and have lost 22.5lbs so far (drop in the ocean) but I'm my own worst enemy and at some stage I think I'll start to lapse and obviously want to avoid that if possible. I lost lots before with ww and then piled it back on again.

Sorry for my first post on this thread to be full of questions but I have another one if someone could help? I'm going to Pizza Express tonight and wondered of anyone knew what the best low syn option would be. I dont want to blow a possible loss next week on one pizza this evening. I can spare about 20-30 syns and just cut back the rest of the week.

Thank you in advance & have a good day everyone :)

Well I got back last night from out little jaunt to the freebie golf/spa hotel break that Mr Dizzy won at golf......and it was luverrrly :)
we went with his golf buddy & his wife so while they golfed we made the most of the different treatments, facial, manicure, hot stone masage, general lazing about in the sauna & pool area :o

oh I did a little walk around the grounds as the weather was sooooo beautiful for a change. I'l skip the fine details of what we ate it wasnt really that bad (but a little pastry was involved:p)......lets just say its a good job I had a fair few syns saved up before we went as we shared 2 bottles of wine between us each evening meal :rotfl:BUT no puddings touched my lips :A

Anyhooo Its WI tonight..... and No sign of the *week fairy that should have been here on tuesday  so Im not expecting anything great from the scales......but hey ho at least I know some of it is fluid retention so I can live with that I suppose.

Good luck to all the other Thursday Weighers ;)
