Hi Minxtress, I think you should go for the first meeting and get all the books. I was lucky in that my sister gave me hers, I cannot afford to go group I am not earning at all, so am poor as a church mouse at the mo. If you get the books you can do it witohut going week in week out but you will need something written down to see how many syns etc foods are.

    HEllo everyone

Happy birthday Take it Eazy hope you have had a fab day, and sounds like you are spoiling yourself, & others spoiling you to :j you go girl! :D

I have had a most satisfactory day today on green:
Breakfast, dragon fruit raspberries and a few blueberries & half a yog
LUnch Couscous & salady bits 3x pagens (HEB) FF cottage cheese adn more berries and a yog
Snack SAINS BGTY Potato & soya snacks - are these 4?

Tea: well i thought I got out a leftover quorn chili but it looks like its a meat one :( Will wait for OH to get home to work out what to do, syn the meat ( which means no dime bar :( or keep it for a EE day tomorrow and find something green in the freezer worth having that isnt too synful

    Im so annoyed at myself!

Hope everyone is having a great day out there, glorious weather really cheerful :D

Had a good day, eaten nearly my whole melon! Is that ok? Have 2 more to eat, i LOVE honeydew melon.

Chowmein was ok but a little bland. Need to add 2 syns for the oil, and 1 syn for the milk i had in a coffee earlier which brings me a grand total of 3 syns for the day. Still got an alpen light to have as the other half of my B.

Not been wildly hungry today which is good, stopped me snarfling crap i dont need.

Happy Birthday TakeItEazy:bdaycake: Hope you enjoy your pizza:)

That's it. I used to have a very large glass of juice with my breakfast every morning so I've substituted it with a large glass of NAS squash. Grapefruit or Ribena are my current favourites but if anyone can recommend one that doesn't taste so sweet I'd like to hear.

    Happy Birthday, TakeitEazy! x

Minxstress I agree with Lynz that just one visit to a class to get the books and the talk will make all the difference. The basic ideas are laid out on the first page of this thread but it will be made entirely clear (hopefully) by the group leader who will answer all of your first-night questions! Good luck with your weight loss.

Hello all, I've just had a big plate full of raw stuff - cauliflower, spinach, radishes, beetroot, spring onions, orange pepper, celery, cucumber. Very filling and just what I needed.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Happy Birthday Take it Easy!! I too am planning on some chocolate for my birthday in a couple of weeks.

I had WI today, lost a pound, so disappointing as I have had lots of red days, drank more water, followed the advice given, but still only a pound gone, but its better than nothing, and I plan to continue being super good till my birthday, then having a flexy day. I am hoping a flexy day might even help with some weight loss, sounds mad I know but after sticking to plan 100% since the end of Jan, by then it may just give me a boost and kind of reset my body into losing once I get back on plan. Or am I just wishful thinking here lol
Ah well onwards and upwards, keep up the good work all x
