    Just tried it, its lovely!

AND my 5 year old boy demanded a bit and scoffed the lot, mushrooms and all!!:T:T

Next time will add sliced peppers I think. LIke you say, its an easy thing to tweak and add different things to.

the best one I made so far had smoked salmon and spring onions in ....... :p but I've loved them all except the first I made (I put tomatoes into that forgetting that I don't like eggs and tomatoes together)

Hey all, obviously there are a number of quorn fans in the house,:D but does anyone know / has anyone tried the all new

    ***********************Quorn Fish Fingers? ***********

can anyone tell me how many syns they are if they are online ( I dont have access being pauper n all )

Are they nice or not :o as spotted in Asda

Lynz I've just looked online and it says there aren't any Quorn Fish Fingers :(

SkintSlimmer take care of yourself! (don't you think "Discharge Lounge" sounds a horrible place, I imagine running sores always)

I got Slimmer of the week this week, not because I deserved it but because the genuine SOTW left partway thru the chat so they drew another raffle ticket. In it was a pot of cottage cheese (with chives) - not reduced fat or anything, how odd. Or is all cottage cheese reduced fat? I don't like it cottage cheese anyway so I tried the cats with it - they LOVE IT, even with bits of dried chive in it. Oh I've brought these cats up to eat anything!

Our consultant reminded everyone that one-third of the plate should be superfree food, and she further reminded them that peas, baked beans etc are NOT superfree. Three or four members commented that they hadn't really realised that and would mend their ways. I know people do get confused so thought I'd mention it. Only fruit and vegetables that are free on BOTH red and green (not on either red or green) are SUPERFREE.

    thank you Slimming World!

So...the taking it easy on yourself thing...when will that start?? Glad you are ok though. Pleeease don't worry about getting back to plan until you are nearing 100%!

    Miss P
    xx

Oh yeah taking it easy on myself, forgot about that bit... :rotfl:

I'm not too good at it :o

In my defence it was literally a choice between sitting in hospital feeling ok, reading a book and clock watching, or sitting discussing something interesting, and hopefully taking some of it in. I elevated my leg like a good girl and everything! ;)

I've just settled down to sleep and thought something was digging in my side.. it was a flipping sticky heart rate monitor thingumy, (looks like a metal nipple) and on closer inspection there were 3 of them! Surely the hospital should check stuff like that has been removed before discharging (yes it is a yuck word!) you?!

  • Thanks to Lil_me for helping me out yesterday, still a bit rusty on the right ways to go so hoping my book turns up soon!!

Yesterday went well, menu for today is Extra Easy:

Breakfast - Bacon (dry fried) and egg
Lunch - batchelors savory rice cooked with some chicken, mushrooms and peas
Dinner - Leek, Mushroom, chicken risotto with some philly mixed in (HEA)
Snacks - Apples, Satsumas, Milk in tea (HEA)

so I seem to have ended up with two HEAs and no HEBs - or can I use cheese as a HEB on Extra Easy? I have scoured the house for my book but i am lost without it! Might have to buy a new one!

Sorry, you can only have cheese as a HEXA. Why not syn the milk in your tea? I think a splash is about half a syn (don't take that as gospel, not entirely sure). Must admit I struggle with only one HEXA as not keen on black coffee but I also love cheese on jacket potato's etc.
