Just logged on to say hi, operation went well today. Still a bit groggy from the general anaesthetic (don't tell anybody but I went to my afternoon lectures having had the op in the morning! Well, it was either do that and do something interesting with my time while someone kept an eye on me or sit bored in the discharge lounge for 6 hours!).
I'm not posting my food diary for today or tomorrow but will be back into the swing of things by Thursday hopefully.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
We stayed in a hotel on Third Avenue, outdated but clean! It was about a 30min walk to the lanes and the pier! We walked around the pavillion aswell - amazing place!
It was the damn Ginger Pig that got me with some lovely game for starter and main and white chocolate cheesecake and chocolate sorbet for pudding! (i did wonder how they got cold chocolate to melt!:rotfl:) And the ginger biscuit in the shape of a pig when we had coffee!
Did you see the chocolate shop with the massive choco cakes & sheeps with marshmallows for their fleece?
I loved Brighton - going to take DH in September - after the holiday season! Would like to visit the marina but we didn't have time!
We were lucky to have nice weather! Its about 10deg colder at home!
The Ginger Pig sounds lovely..mmm.. haven't been there myself as we stay with my sister who lives in Kemp Town (about 15 mins walk from the pier the other way) so we tend to stick to that side of town. We try and go 3-4 times a year, Xmas is fab down there - they have the mad people that go swimming in the sea on Xmas day surrounded by Santa's on surfboards.. some people aren't right :rotfl:
Was the shop Choccywoccydoodah? it's fantastic.. so clever.. and so yummy! I love all the shops down there, very different from anywhere i've ever been, and such fabulous people.. hoping to retire down there in 20 years if i ever get enough money!
Glad you enjoyed it..
Right back on topic.. For dessert tonight i've had a warm banana, with a warmed up alpen light (0.5 HEB) and squirty light cream. Does anyone know how many syns are in the squirty cream roughly? it was about 3 dessertspoonfuls.. I won't be synning the banana because i've only eaten one like i would have if it was cold.
oh and sneaky weigh in confirmed i have lost 3.5lbs so the 10 week challenge is going well..10.5lb to lose in 9 weeks!:T
have a good evening xMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Evening all, afraid I haven't caught up yet so hope everyone is doing ok. Glad op went well skint, make sure you rest up !
Brighton is fab (well, I think so cause I live very near there). Been watching the choccydoodah on TV, it's fab ! Going to have to visit the shop next time I go into town although I think their prices might be a little bit out of my range .
WI tomorrow evening and a sp tells me I might have lost, but we shall see, weight fluctuates like the blinkin weather at the moment so I have no idea until I actually get on her scales tomorrow evening. Fingers x'd !
Today has been EE (at work so no time to snack !):
B - 42g All Bran (HEB), Banana, Milk (HEA)
L - Chicken and ham salad (cucumber, lettuce, carrot), mullerlight
D - Spaghetti bolognaise
Snacks - Pear, HiFi Bar (6 syns)
I'm finding it hard to eat lots like I have been doing simply because I don't get the time at work (being on shop floor we're not allowed food). I can just about find time to grab a pm piece of fruit but that's it. I'm also having dinner later so not feeling hungry in the evenings snack-wise either - I just hope this doesn't slow my weight loss !Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -

Glad all went well SS, take it easy0 -
Ok, I've really got to go for it now!! Mum and Dad have just invited us (me, OH, little boy and two stepkids) on holiday with them to Cornwall in August!! Am sooooo excited as haven't had a real weeks holiday since honeymoon 7 years ago!! And I DO NOT want to be a bloater when we go! I want to enjoy days out etc without being lumpy, sweaty and tired.
So!! 20 weeks until holiday...I want to lose at least 35lbs (1.5 a week average). Is that possible/doable do you think???

Ooooh, thanks for that Blackberry-rum. Sounds good - I'm always looking for a sauce that isn't just runny and tomatoey lol0
