Thanks *maman* for idea, I love hm soup but hadn't considered pasta salad for lunches.
Hope you had a good dinner.
It'll be really easy to have pasta salads when the weather warms up but my current favourite is with roasted vegetables and maybe some ham or chicken bits thrown in. I've been roasting a tray of veg (peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, courgettes etc) in balsamic and some frylight plus a bit of stock if it goes a bit dry. I put it in the oven when I'm doing something else so it makes me feel very virtuous in a MSE way.Evening all.
Went to WI in this morning and have lost 1lb. I only have another 4½ to lose to get to target.
Going on holiday on 13th March for 2 weeks I was hoping to get there before I go (v unlikely now)
Going to do red this week see if that will budge another couple of pounds.
4.5 away from target is amazing and anything in the next week or so will be a bonus jill. If I were you I'd think that you're likely to put something on over your holiday and can deal with that plus the 4.5 (or less) whan you get back.
I saw spray oil (olive and, I think, sunflower) in Aldi's today when I was getting my superfrees. It was about £1.50 and the cans looked bigger than frylight. Anyone know if it's free? any good?0 -

Morning all,
cande, i'd be interested to hear about eating lots of superfree too as I seem to be the same as you although I presume it would be the same as doing Success Express? Consultant, can you help us, pretty please ?
No gym for me today as I'm a bit sore and I'll do more harm than good. I'll go tomorrow instead (don't usually go at weekends but I'm willing to make an exception for the cause)
Today's food (red):
B - bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato ketchup (1 syn) pear, satsuma
L - Tuna Salad with 57g wholemeal roll (HEB1), banana, activia FF yoghurt
D - Pork chops, swede, cabbage, carrots, gravy (2 syns)
HEA1 = Milk
I have loads of pears to use up so I'll probably see about doing some kind of crumble for dessert - will have a browse on the SW recipes. That will use up most of my syns.
I still have a HEA and and HEB to use up so I'll have those as snacks (not sure what yet) :think:Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -

Evening all,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me please can having too many superfrees be a bad thing? As sometimes I seem to have more than 1/3 superfree, for instance breakfast I'll have a fruit salad (1 banana, some grapes, some pineapple a kiwi for example) and then about 4 spoonfuls of FF natural yoghurt and there must be more fruit than there is yoghurt, so way over 1/3 superfree.
Also sometimes with evening meals I cook too much veg, so I have loads on my plate, thinking surely its better to fill up with superfree. I don't make the amout of free foods smaller, just end up having extra superfree. I have STS the last 3 weeks and wondered if this is anything to do with it. Although I think its more to do with the excercising I'm doing.
Having more than 1/3 superfree will not be detrimental to your weight loss. EE plan provides for at least 1/3 each meal should be superfree. I normally have more than 1/3 for at least 1 meal a day and I am now only 1 pound away from my target. If you are struggling with weight loss try increasing your speed foods such as strawberries, melon (not watermelon), peas (not superfree) etc as this should help with losses.0 -
EE for me today:-
B - strawberries and ff yogurt
S - 2 Alpen light bars (heb)
L - jacket spud with mozzarella (Hea) and loads of salad, pack French fries (4.5)
D - not sure maybe omlette and salad0 -
Morning all, well done to the losers, and there seem to be several people getting close to target, well done. :TI'm now only 13lbs away from my original target and depending on how well I get on I may start alter this. Not to sound bigheaded but it is looking to be easier on SW then I originally thought.
I put on 3lb at WI last night, but am happy with this after my indulgent holiday and I still got a round of applause. I even ended up winning a balloon whisk and frying pan in the raffleOur consultant talked about pancakes all evening, and about the different toppings you can have, I'm just going to give them a miss this year. I'll cook for the rest of the family but I'm not going to waste syns on them, I think the average pancake is 2.5 syns.
Anyway I'm going to start writing down my meal plan again, EE today
B- Alpen light bar (1/2B), apple, 2 satsumas
L- salmon and watercress salad, cucumber, tomatoes mayo (2) kiwi
T- Chili and rice, tomatoes, spinach onions cheese (A) (2) Alpen light bar (1/2B) rasps and f/free yog.
I WILL be doing at least 30 minutes on my Wii fit tonight and plan to do a total of 4 hours exercise this week. I've confessed now so have to do it :rotfl:
Hope everyone enjoys their dayCurrently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350Debt free date October 2014:jDoing it for my girlies!!:j38lbs lost in 2011SW for May 8lb/7lb0 -

If you find you are eating 2/3rds superfree then you could do success express but to ensure you are still having enough calories you need to have the 1or2 A choices and 2 B choices that SE allows. Also, where a synable item has higher syns on one plan you must take the higher value (whereas with EE you take the lower one). The other difference is that snacks should only be superfree food or HEs or syns, not free food.
Hope that makes sense!!! I like SE but I find it hard to get the 2/3rds superfree in for all 3 meals, it does have dyno-rod effects though lol!!0 -
Morning all! WI last night and sts. Really pleased with that, especially because on the way home I started adding up all the bad things I'd eaten over the week and I feel I'm really lucky to sts. Can't go to class next week cos I will be in Italy (work, not hols) but am gonna try to stick to the plan as much as possible anyway.
Food for today:
B - fruit, yog + oats (HEB)
L - cajun chicken salad + feta (HEA)
D - steamed chicken, veg + rice
Snacks - nana, kiwi, nectarine, apple, 1 pack of walkers baked (6 syns) with HM houmus (6 syns)
So thats HEA, HEB + 12 syns. Awesome.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner
