Having more than 1/3 superfree will not be detrimental to your weight loss. EE plan provides for at least 1/3 each meal should be superfree. I normally have more than 1/3 for at least 1 meal a day and I am now only 1 pound away from my target. If you are struggling with weight loss try increasing your speed foods such as strawberries, melon (not watermelon), peas (not superfree) etc as this should help with losses.

The only way having more superfree would be detrimental to weight loss would be if filling up on fruit/veg/salad menat you were'nt eating enough calories over the day causing your body to go into starvation mode. If i eat enough superfrees I can be full all day on about 800kcals (I know this from when I used to do calorie counting diets!) but that's not good for you and when I used to do that I never had good losses!!

Morning all! Thank goodness it's friday, I'm shattered!!! We're going to the Trafford centre tomorrow and out for a meal with friends in the evening so I think it'd best be a flexi day!!! Yesterday ended up being changed to green as OH wanted beans with our lasagne and chips for tea instead of salad. Overall my syns stayed the same anyway.

Today I'm going EE as we're at OH's parents' for tea so I don't know what I'm having.

Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana, mixed berries
Snack - grapes, plums (I have a lunchtime meeting so need these to make me last till I get back!!)
Lunch - large mixed salad (lettuce, toms, cuc, onion, carrot, celery), baby jacket potatoes (cold), 2 hardboiled eggs, dressing (1 syn), jelly (0.5 syns)
Tea - ? but will contain syns!!!
  • Morning all!

Yesterday was a bit of a disaster I think. Not sure if its red or green, more like some dodgy purple colour:

    Brekkie - museli (B) + milk (A)
Snacks - 2 (tiny) apples and a muller light
Lunch - houmous & salad sandwich (B + syns for houmous)
    Snacks - mars bar:eek::eek: + choc brownie :eek::eek::eek:
Dinner - steak & salad and a pear

So actually that looks like a red day, with far too many syns in it. My only saving grace is I did a 6.5 mile run :D which hopefully will cancel out the mars bar!

I don't have much chance of getting back on track today as I'm out for lunch and dinner :o. So far had museli, cup of tea, apple and pear. Nothing else shall pass my lips til lunch now!! Hopefully there will be a salad option for lunch, although i suspect tonight will be some horrific italian pasta creamy delight

Morning all, well done to the losers, and there seem to be several people getting close to target, well done. :TI'm now only 13lbs away from my original target and depending on how well I get on I may start alter this. Not to sound bigheaded but it is looking to be easier on SW then I originally thought.

I put on 3lb at WI last night, but am happy with this after my indulgent holiday and I still got a round of applause. I even ended up winning a balloon whisk and frying pan in the raffle :D Our consultant talked about pancakes all evening, and about the different toppings you can have, I'm just going to give them a miss this year. I'll cook for the rest of the family but I'm not going to waste syns on them, I think the average pancake is 2.5 syns.

Anyway I'm going to start writing down my meal plan again, EE today
B- Alpen light bar (1/2B), apple, 2 satsumas
L- salmon and watercress salad, cucumber, tomatoes mayo (2) kiwi
T- Chili and rice, tomatoes, spinach onions cheese (A) (2) Alpen light bar (1/2B) rasps and f/free yog.

I WILL be doing at least 30 minutes on my Wii fit tonight and plan to do a total of 4 hours exercise this week. I've confessed now so have to do it :rotfl:

    Hope everyone enjoys their day

Not bigheaded at all!! You should be proud you're achieveing so much, so quickly :D

What are these scan brans people talk about? Are they available in normal shops or just at meetings? How do they help you lose weight?

You can buy scan bran at Waitrose and Holand&Barrett. They are in a white/red packet and taste like cardboard.

They help you lose weight by shifting everything out your bowels like sh*t off a hot shovel:)

Had a busy morning, had to take DD into A&E to get her checked over as she has been struggling with her chest. Thankfully its not too bad but i have to take her back if she gets worse.

Still on track though so far:D

    Using an A for coffee/tea
    Breakfast Coffee/banana/yoghurt
    Snack Alpen light(1/2B),falafel(1.5)
Lunch WM roll(B), Quorn burger(2.5), ketchup(1), mug of HM soup

Dinner will be quorn bolognaise with an A of cheese and some fruit/yoghurt after.

Working tonight so saving my syns for something nice later. Will have 10 left over for then.

4.5 away from target is amazing and anything in the next week or so will be a bonus jill. If I were you I'd think that you're likely to put something on over your holiday and can deal with that plus the 4.5 (or less) whan you get back.

I went away for a week at Christmas and put on 8lb. Rejoined SW a few days later. The following week at my WI I had lost 8½lb.:D I stuck to EE 100% this shows the plan works.

This time we are going for 2 weeks  We are going to Thailand so I will be eating plenty of rice dishes. (I've never seen a fat Thai woman). On the previous holiday I was drinking ½ pints of weak lager around the pool to keep my fluids up. Going to try to drink iced water this time, and spirits/diet coke in the evenings. :A

We've just had a tray of krispy kreme doughnuts and ginger bread men left in the office. I'm munching on a satsuma but really really want a doughnut.
