quick question - am going to a tapas place tonight and while i plan to eat paella i want a little advice on drink!
which would be best syn wise;
sangria or cocktails?
i know i could be good and have none but this is my early birthday celebration with my family and i wont be driving for once!
It would depend on what cocktails you're having, vodka based cocktails will be better than sangria, but then the sangria will be better then the cream based cocktails like the pina colada's
You could always count the fruit in the sangria so it is less naughty.
I've just come back from tenerife, and had a delious Paella out there. I hope you enjoy your night out.Currently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350Debt free date October 2014:jDoing it for my girlies!!:j38lbs lost in 2011SW for May 8lb/7lb0 -
Quick question, is a month too soon to expect results?
I only ask as i've become really demotivated with SW and am wondering if i should carry on. I'm the fattest person in my group, i'm 1lb away from being the same weight i was when i started, i'm a fussy eater who can't eat enough superfree food and i'm coming home from WI upset and drained. I even stopped taken one of my medications because its main side effect was weight gain.
I don't know if i should take a break and come back to it when my mental health is better? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I think it will be interesting to see what the scales say on Sunday as this has been my "skintslimmer challenge" :rotfl:week and has had a lot of green days (although I haven't gone OTT on the carbs) , and I have tried to cut down my super free/super speed on some days to make room for the basic free stuff and to try and make room to use more syns....
I think I might settle down later and start planning for next week -not sure what Im going to do yet -but I will figure it out
XXmessedupXX -have you posted on here what you will eat? perhaps between us we could come up with some ideas to make life a little easier...
I can understand your frustration when you are trying but aren't getting the results you deserve. I wouldn't give up yet... like I say, if you can tell us what you can eat -we may be able to see something you can't.... a bit like Skintslimmer -pointing out for me that perhaps the reason I couldn't eat my syns, or much meat/carbs was because I eat soooooo many superfrees....
I will be happy to rummage through my stuff to see if I can come up with any recipes etc -and Im sure everyone on here will help....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

hi all .... can i ask a quick question..... what ( roughly) would you say is an average class size, i only ask this as we have a (another) new consultant and she is "brand new" to being a consultant. On her first week she has done loads of advertising etc and there was 40 + people come to class, the 3rd week ( missed her 2nd due to being incapacitated) was the same... she did a taster AND bring a friend and i counted 45 people who stayed ( thank god some weighed and went lol), i think this is too many for one class , what do you think ? btw class starts at 6.30 but by 7.10 people are still queing to weigh etc..mustn't grumble :cool:0

Hmm .
I guess it depends really, what superfree do you like, can you be more creative with them? I guess it doesnt matter if your fave superfrees are only a few, if you can be more creative with them.
I would try a little longer and see what you can do?
If you let me know what superfrees you like I can see what I can come up with? Are you vegetarian? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

hello everyone. Long time no speak!
I need to get back on track. Kinda gave up and am not far off being back where i started at! There's a new group starting next to my work which starts not long after i finish work (downside is the group doesnt start till the 17th) so there's no excuses. Food shopping tomorrow so just need to plan!
what are your fav meals to make when you need to get back motivated?

That's a very good class size. I think my consultant is happy if 45 people sign in, but usually only 15 or so will stay for the session. Like you I joined a new consultant on her first week and it was busy! Once people start getting used to it, getting their books ready, stripping off in the queue to weigh etc things do speed up a little.
It's tough for the consultants because they get more money if they get more members, but then the member experience reduces. After about 5 weeks our group went to a double session, 5pm and 7pm. Bit easier.0
