Saving123: they'll explain it at class much more clearly - enjoy yourself and don't be despondent if you don't enjoy the class much, it took me weeks to decide I quite liked it and liked (most of) the people there. IT DOES WORK!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

and I would add, if it tastes rank whatever you use, don't necessarily blame the substitution. I've never had a SW recipe turn out tasting as if its worth the effort and ingredients (but that may be just me).
It isnt just you ! What could possibly go wrong with a chickpea and spinach curry ? 3 of my fave things chickpeas+spinach+ curry spices should be lovely, right??: WRONG!!
Alas no, it is dull as dull can be. Its hard enough trying to convince OH that a meal made of spinach and chickpeas is "man enough", plus Im servnig a curry without naan, which is never right! this recipe is pointless, dont bother seriously. boredom on a plate.
Im considering selling my book ( Food around the world or whatever its called) fleabay and use slimming eats, here, and normal cookery books and just adapt them to the SW way.
Has anyone got the SW book "sauces" is it any cop?
anyway Im really chuffed I had a great day on SW so far today and I am so wacked it will be early night so minimises excess syn risk!
Food has been EE today:
Brek: 3/4 mango, half a punnet of bluberries and a half a WW yog
Lunch: pasta with SF sauce of tomato mushroom onion herbs etc plus FF cottage cheese and 3 pagens (HEB) & a muller lite
Snack: WW cheese bites ( 2.5)
Dinner:chinese feast: Boiled rice, chicken in ginger with black fungus and Asian Slow cooked beef from here http://rasamalaysia.com/recipe-ginger-and-black-fungus-chicken/
ETA change of plan, we have no gas! god knows whats for dinner:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!0 -
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the ordinary Alpen bars are definitely not a HEB and would need to be synned.
Thanks for letting know, I won't make that mistake again x0 -

Sorry you're not well TIE. I LOVE the bear hunt thing - we used to do that with the brownies! Will you post the full words to it for us (me)? I can't remember what happens after we're not scared, apart from some screaming somewhere!
Here you go, copied this online so not exactly like the book but gives you the gist.
We’re going on a Bear Hunt
We’re going on a bear hunt
We’re going to catch a big one
I’m not scared
What a beautiful day!
Oh grass
Tall wavy grass
We can’t get over it
We can’t get under it
We can’t get around it
We’ll have to go through it!
Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish
Grass, tall wavy grass (swish)
Mud, icky sticky mud (squish, squash)
A river, a very cold river (splash)
A forest, a deep, dark forest (stumble-trip)
A cave, a very dark cave (tippy-toe)
ROAR!
Oh no! A bear! A very big bear!
Through the cave, tippy toe, tippy toe
Through the forest, stumble-trip, stumble-trip
Through the river splash, splash, splash, splash
Through the mud squish, squash, squish, squash
Through the grass swish, swish, swish, swish
In the house,
Up the stairs.
Forgot the door!
Oh-ho
Down the stairs,
Close the door,
Up the stairs
Jump on the bed,
Pull the covers over your head…
I’m never going on a bear hunt again! Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
