I have the plain quorn sausages all the time and they're free, plus lots of the other flavours are too (but not all). What's going on?!
I do apologise, I seem to be well out of date on the list of Quorn products. It's something I never look at as I can't stand the stuff but as far as I know only the plain (not breaded) stuff is free.
I'm happy to be corrected on this though....and I shall certainly be looking for those red onion burger thingiesI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
hi y'all please can someone tell me if on a red day, when allowed 2 HEB's is it ok to have 2 lots of wholemeal bread instead of having something of the healthy extra additional page for red days???? I don't want to mess this up.
EE today

Lunch: HM veg soup, 2 wmeal bread (HEB)
Tea: Harvester - 1/2 spit roast chicken, jacket spud & salad, butter (2) lowfat mayo (2)
Supper: Planning on a punnet of fresh strawbs yummmmmmmmmmm and cadbury highlights
Tomorrow is red again, so need to know about this HEB thingy, please anyone????
Geeves 1980, I understand there is always oil added to fresh pasta/noodles otherwise they would just clag together; the dried ones are oil free. Why not used dry noodles, I buy some fab Blue Dragon wholewheat ones that are far nice than wholewheat Yuck Pasta; they only take a minute or two to cook. Soy sauce is free too if no-one has mentioned that.
Do they not have to list it in the ingredients list if it has oil in?
How would I do it with dried noodles? Would I have to soak them first as I am stirfrying the noodles in with the dish, or can I just chuck 'em in dry?
I tried it with the Amoy rice noodles before (the ones that are in the ambient packs) as the fresh only have a shelf life of 3-4 days uncooked, but I didn't like it as much.0 -

For those who didn't read about it, Cherie apparently said that Tony still excited her in every possible way.....why would we want to know that and why is it so hard to push the image from your mind once you've been told it :rotfl::rotfl:
perhaps we should picture that each time we feel like eating something naughtyit should act as a deterrent

you would think they'd have it as an ingredient, unless it doesn't count as an ingredient as it's not actually IN but ON the noodles? I dunno, I always use dried (and I am only repeating what I've read on this thread and previous MSE SW threads). You just cook them like pasta (that's all noodles are, the Orient claims they invented 'em and Italy claims they invented 'em although I'm talking of regular noodles not rice noodles. Noodle is a funny word when you write it over and over ). Mix the cooked drained noodles with the other stirfry ingredients at the very end just before serving, which is when I would add any extra oyster sauce etc that might be needed as a finishing touch.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Susiebear I haven't a clue I don't do red and green. Although I would think it'd be more interesting to have two different HEBs rather than four slices of bread a day, but each to his own
Ooooh tonight's frozen Muller light (Apricot) will be about ready now. Yum yum.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Yes, you can have two lots of wholemeal bread if you wanted to! Or 2 alpen lights and a lot of wholemeal bread. Or any two things listed as a Healthy Extra
The additional ones like the '227g baking pot' and that are just there if you want to add some carbs on Red, you still can. It's not essential to have one of these, and one of 'bread and cereal' It works t'other way too, you can have 2 lots of potato on red if you wanted to.
Hope this clears your confusion!Slimming WorldWeek 1 B]-7[/B Week 2 B]+1[/B Week 3 B]STS[/B Week 4 COLOR=DarkOrange]STS-3-2[/B Week 7 COLOR=Red]-1+2[/B Week 9 COLOR=Red]-2[/COLOR

Thanks blackberry rum, how do u find your loss on EE? I am fed up of sticking to plan 100% and losing sooo slow, so was advised to try some red days in the mix, am hoping it speeds things along. Will let you all know how I get on;)
Think I might join u in a frozen muller light, I love the vanilla ones with the chocolate sprinkles:T0 -
