Evening all, hope you are all having a good weekend :j

Today's eats for me on a Red day:

    B: 2 scrambled eggs & smoked salmon

    L: Tuna salad

Afternoon snack: Banana & Asda light chocoloate mousse (3.5 syns)

T: SW Kebab following recipe on Minimins with shredded cabbage and salad, hm garlic mayo using lf mayo & ff yogurt, Co-op WM pitta bread (HEB)

I seem to be lacking some HExA here ... I'll have to look at the list to see if I can slot some in somewhere ... any ideas girls?

i never struggle to slot in a hea :o I'd have some cheese melted on your kebab, or why not whizz up a banana and your milk allowance, with a tiny bit of honey for a smoothie (leave a few syns for this).
Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels

What about sprinkiling some cheese on your kebab? or drink some milk lol sorry I don't really have any useful suggestions x

You don't actually have to have the Hea, it's not completely compulsory all the time.

    Hello Everyone

Mind if I join in? I have just restarted SW as of yesterday. Have lost most of my weight and still have a few pounds to go (not 100% of final target yet) but mainly just want to learn to eat healthily and to be able to have a treat without blowing the whole thing. I havent been to class, just using my Mums books. I'm a veggie so it'll be all green days for me x

    Morning all
Anyone fancy joining me in a 10 week challenge?
I'm restarting my whole journey from Monday (well technically today but my WI isn't until Monday)
I'm hoping to lose 14lb by the 21st May which is the masquerade ball, hopefully that it doable, that makes it an average of 1.5lb a week?
I'm also going to start doing regular body magic, at least 4 sessions a week?

Hello, I'm up for the challenge!!! If I manage it I will be back within my target (yippee!!!!).

I've been so busy lately I just haven't had time to read all the posts but I'm back now and ready to go.

Welcome to the many newbies and well done to all the 'losers'.

    Good luck to all. x

True, HEs are not compulsory but you're not following the plan if you miss them out and please bear in mind that they're there for your health.....no point being nice and slim if your bones break down on you through lack of calcium ;)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Hi I started extra easy on Tuesday and really enjoying it so far. Just after some advice.

I am not in a class but have all the books etc.

My question is: I have to have 2/3 free and 1/3 super free. Does it matter if some days I have more super free than free? Also do portion sizes matter of syn free meals? Can I really have as much as I want? Or should I limit it?

    Any help would be great

    Thanks :)

Lol x I know what you were trying to say hun!

It's very rare I don't have my HExAs and HExBs ... I'm sure the milk in my 2 cups of coffee and a splash of milk in my scrambled eggs will help a little ;)

I couldn't face putting cheese on my kebab! Oh no missus!

    Evening everyone

Well, the interview I went for yesterday, they rang me today and I got the job ! dancing-banana.gif

Not great pay but the hours are good for me, location is fantastic (within walking distance) and there's room for progression once I've got my foot in the door so I'm in a great mood today. Only problem is I start on Monday (full day) and then have next Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun as full days too. I'm going to need to keep myself VERY organised food-wise to make sure I stay on track.

Now we just have to find DH a job to go to once he gets made redundant at the end of the month !

Eating has been good today, gym this morning and gardening this afternoon so plenty of exercise too :D

    Red:

B - Alpen light bar - 3 syns (before Gym) and smoked haddock and 2 poached eggs when I got back.
L - Wholemeal roll (HEB1), tuna, pepper, mayonnaise (1 syn), 2 babybell light (HEA1) Activia FF yoghurt,
D - Tomato baked chicken (SW recipe made with mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, chicken, garlic and herbs) sauteed leeks (home grown ones, were yummy !) and griddled aubergine.

Snacks - HiFi Bar (6 syns), 2 slices Hovis w/meal (HEB2), marmite, banana
    HEA2 - Milk

Been shopping tonight (again !) but need to do a bit of cooking/freezing ready for next week and work.

I don't know how anyone manages without their HEs but then again, I am a bit of a piggy :o
