hiya all
On my weigh in it looks like I have put on 2lbs this weekbut my proper weigh in is now tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow I might show a loss! I have had 6 mugs of tea prior to weigh in so maybe that is the issue? Or could it be the spring rolls and chips of this week!
Oh well slightly peeved, but all my own fault, it wont fall off without effort so anyway must crack on!

Bluberries banana and half a muller
6 mugs of tea (HEA sk milk) with sweetex
Lunch will be beans, mushrooms egg and maybe bacon if i get some today
Snack - ff cottage cheese, couscous salad plus 3x KRISPROLLS (HEB)
Dinner- Egg fried rice ( free) Chicken satay ( not sure on the satay sauce, or how im going to make it) and chicken in oyster sauce (1syn) with pak choi, beansprouts, spring onions, ginger mushrooms and bamboo shoots - yum!

I'll join in for 7lbs in 5 weeks
Only because my sticker chart has another 7lbs to go!
Hey up I tell you what, I added some smash powder to my dyno rod soup to thicken it up (thought I had no lentils - turns out I did but thats a different story), and, well! turns out that dyno rod soup isn't dyno rod without lentils and with smash! Tastes flipping lovely though!
I read something (oh here?) abotu cauliflour being an unsung vegetable hero, so I have got one and I fancy it cooked up to smush point with some of the green split peas I've soaked overnight. Add some sort of curry powder concoction and I think (hope!) it'll be lovely and very low calorie. I'm feeling the need for a couple of days extra good because I was so naughty thursday. Because we have back to back lectures on a tuesday and a thursday its really hard to avoid the chocolate which is constantly offered around in an attempt to stay bright eyed and bushy tailed!I took a packet of grapes in but it just wasn't the same and I caved, big style!
I have since declared that if Tuesday and Thursdays are going to be the chocolate crammed days, then the rest of the week is a chocolate free zone. So far so good...Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Just weighed self again x4 and I am now 9 stone 5. 12pm was the time that I bought the scales so this is more likely to be right.
I think the earlier reading was a freak result. OH has lost 2lbs as well. (which he probsbly shouldnt as hes been drinking red coke) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

...
Cauliflower in curry is flipping lovely :T:T But I luuuuuurrrrve cauli anyway (especially cooked well then a couple of mad cows melted on top nomnomnom)
we made a curry that we adapted from a jamie oliver recipe, cauliflower & buternut squash, chickpeas & curry powder (jamie used paste) it was seriously delicious0 -
Afternoon all!
Yet another green day for me today.
I did my sneaky Sat morning weigh at home (proper WI is Tuesday) and my scales say 1.75 lbs off but I'm not believing it until the real WI.
Today's food...
Breakfast - none, got up later and wasn't hungry
Lunch - pasta in a cup thing (can't remember what its called but I know its free), orange
Mid Afternoon - grapes instead of the usual crisps with the rugby and a kiwi
Tea - big bowl of homemade sweet potato soup and 2 slices of toast (B choice) (soup has some milk in so A choice), marg on toast (2 syns)
Snack - maybe a choc orange digestive (on offer for 70p in Tesco), maybe a glass of wine -will update on the syns later
On the positive side - I did a fast 1 hour walk with the dog to the greengrocers today and carried it all back again so that should have burnt a bit of something off?0 -

I'm going to try that too. It'll take us up to Easter.
I'm hoping the weather will pick up and I can buy some cheapish spring/summery clothes. I don't want to get anything expensive 'cos I'm hoping to lose a bit more. I'm 1 st from my target but as we were talking about a few days ago, my target is a bit arbitrary as I didn't really think it through on my first day at SW so I might change it.0
