From the Slimming World website looks yummy

Butternut squash bubble & squeak cakes
    Serves: 4
    Prep time: 10 minutes
    Cook time: 30 minutes
    Syns per serving:

    Free EE and Green only

500g butternut squash, peeled and diced
    450g potatoes, peeled and diced
    200g savoy cabbage, shredded
A bunch of spring onions, trimmed and sliced
    Fry Light
    1. In a large pan, cook the butternut squash in boiling water for 15 minutes, then add the potatoes the pan for 5 minutes, and then add the cabbage, cook for another 10 minutes, and drain
    2. Place the cooked butternut squash, potatoes and cabbage in a bowl with the spring onions and mash well. Using your hands shape the mixture into cakes or use moulds.
    3. Heat a non-stick frying pan sprayed with Fry Light, and cook for 10 minutes on a medium heat on both sides. Remove from the pan and serve immediately.

Tip: As an alternative, cook the cakes in the oven instead of frying, or grill to crisp them. You could also cook as one large ‘cake’ in a non-stick baking tin and serve cut into wedges.

Thanks - a vegan recipe:) will try that.

Can anyone who has Pagen Krisp rolls I read about check to see if they are vegan - no egg or dairy? Only got co op and waitrose near me so might take some tracking down if I can have them?

    Thanks!

I got to the class by work tonight - not been for 2 weeks as booked last week as shift worker week off.

Had lost half pound - not a lot over 2 weeks but got my 2.5 stone sticker and a certificate (we never get certificates at my group?)

    So happy :j

Have got a voucher for a free week from my club 10 in Dec, but they said I can only use it at the club I got it from - which was a daytime one I went to 2 days before Xmas as my local ones were shut due to snow. I can't go to that one as I'm at work in the daytime. Will have to ring the area manager see if I can get it transfered to local club as not losing out on that!

At the mo I'll stick to meetings and review at Easter - will stick to SW plan its great! May leave meetings and get my weigh in for free at local fitness studio instead. Not sure yet?

Just wanted to say a huge "well done" to all the losers :D

I`m imagining everyone dancing around like mad things :D

Well i`ve eaten tea, as i missed out earlier i had rather a huge plateful of sw chips, egg and beans. The chips didn`t turn out as well as before and i put it down to the wrong kind of potatoes, i`m not sure what type they are really - only that they have been there for quite some time :o

I found that i had no original fry light but did have some of the olive version, as i put the container back into the cupboard i noticed that the date on it was 2005 :eek::rotfl:

Better put that on my shopping list for next week then

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

well done on the loses everyone - even half a pound is going in the right direction - it's all positive.

I've had a great day here, feeling really good about the plan - I just feel I have been really healthy with all the fruit and veg!.

B: Porridge (HEA and HEB,) sultanas (2 syns)
L: 'fried' rice thingy with veg and prawns
D: Roast chicken, potaotes and veg.

for snacks I was very good and just had fruit and so didn't feel hungry.

Syns: sultanas (2), wine (5) teeny tiny choc egg, about 2 grams,
I also had a lent speciality here which is a kind of bread roll with cumin Anyway, I've counted it as 5 syns based on weight of white bread.

Sunnyday, the type of potatoes really changes the taste and texture of the chips, I have found that Agata is really lovely for wedges and SW chips
    Trying to keep in budget.
