Good morning Gorgeous Girls & Guys,

I wonder if someone could help me work out the syns in a home made lemon drizzle cake (made by my gorgeous daughter Rosie in Food Tech - so I've just had to have a slice wink.gif)

    Ingredients:

75g/3oz Flora buttery (which is 70g fat) - 24 syns
    75g/3oz castor sugar - 15 syns
125g/5oz white self raising flour - 20 syns
    1 egg - Free
    1 teaspoon baking powder - 0.5 syns
    3 tbs milk - 0.5 syns

    Thank you heartpump.gif

Total of 60 syns - divide into 10 pieces, 6 syns a piece

    HTH x

    Morning peeps

well i feel absolutely kn@ckered this morning.

I fell asleep on the sofa when i got home from w*rk and thats where i woke up this morning still half sat up :o Result - one stiff neck and still very tired.

I`ve walked the woofaloes and done a few little jobs that i had to do and i think that i shall need a nap later - good job there`s no w*rk today.

I shall have a browse and make a small shopping list as i have a few errands to run later, most of the house work is done as i did most of it whilst DH was away with the doggies - so much easier moving all the furniture to hoover without noses in everything :D

Although i`m not hungry here is todays plan :-

    Green day today

    Brekkie - porridge & jam 1.5 syns
Dinner - Jacket potato & beans
    Tea SW chips & egg
    Grapefruit
    melon
    yogurt

Tuna on toast HEB 1 &2
Milk as ever will be HEA in my tea.

    Have a good day everyone.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Thank you - you are a star!

In theory you are correct - 10 slices @ 6 syns a slice, however, I had a quarter of it last night! Oops! Luckily I had not had any other syns yesterday ;)

It was well worth it - well done Rosie :T

My first ever maintain this week. Not bad considering I spent the weekend in Dublin on a stag night. I have never drunk so much in my entire life, and food-wise the plan was out the window from Friday-Monday.

Dodged a rather large bullet, .

Not sure what to expect tonight. I've had a good week and done plenty of excercise but my scales at home show a 2lb gain and I've no idea why.

I think the bullet you dodged the week before not sticking to plan came back to hit you this week maybe?
Did it not sound a little too good to be true maintaining after such an off plan week and a heavy drinking session??

Good Morning world .... hope we are all well
:T to those with losses :T

I got up this morning in a ridiculously mood .... perhaps its the sunshine that's doing it -who knows? but I will make the most of it....

Well I'm doing EE today and it should look like this:-

    250ml semi (A)
    melon
    cottage pie (1)
    steamed cabbage

    melon
    orange
    hm burger (1)
    hm oven chips
    lettuce
    cucumner
    tomato
    peppers
    tickled beetroot
    tickled cabbage
    tickled onions

    grapefruit
    activia (2.5)
    fibre plus (B)
    250ml semi (6)
So I make that 1A+B and 10.5 syns used up

Im in the middle of making some bread dough -half will make hubby some rolls to go with the chicken n sweetcorn soup for his flask tomorrow, the other half can stay in the fridge to be turned into a pizza for him tomorrow -we need to nip out shopping tomorrow evening so I will make up the pizza before we go and then just whack it in the oven when we get back I will leave a salad in the fridge for me..
I don't have much else planned for today -so i might work out some more meal plans -really need to use some of the meat up from the freezer
right I will get off -and pop back later .. have a lovely day all and keep at it..we are getting there

you've got 3xHEB in there hun.....don't forget your porridge oats are a HEB too plus I assume you've used milk to make it so don't forget to count that as part of your HEA allowance.
