I was going to point out also to Minxstress that if she is doing EE her dinner of jacket potato and beans doesnt count as having one-third superfree, because beans are not superfree....
i've just made a real effort and swung round on my chair (body magic) to reach my SW book - soya beans are Free (not superfree) and also FF and H meaning they are extra fibre-y and Healthy. It doesn't mention edemame beans at all.
Yes I think soya/edemame are one and the same. I think they started to call them edemame so they can sell like 4 pods in plastic pot in pret for 2.00 or whatever it is :rotfl: A bit more exotic and posh:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I just didnt have anything in to fill up my plate with superfrees today, none of our local shops are open.
It is tricky. I ran out totally yesterday then managed to fnd strawbs and bananas in a little sainsburys today along with salad leaves as well.
Looking forward to going to the market tomorrow, and expect to find lots of nice goodies, I def want a pineapple, mangos, dragonfruit, more berries.
Does anyone know when the asda 25p muller light price will be going back up? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Just cooked a lovely tea, and thought I'd share the recipe.
Chicken, squash & watercress gratin (serves 4-5)
1 butternut squash
1lb new potatoes
2 red onions sliced
1 red pepper, deseeded & chopped
4 chicken breasts, diced
frylight
1 x 200ml carton lf creme fraiche (7.5)
1 x 85g bag watercress
1 garlic clove, peeled & crushed
75g gruyere cheese (HEA)
salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to gas mark 7 (220 C). Peel butternut squash and cut into large chunks. Put in roasting tin/pyrex with potatoes, onions, pepper & chicken. Spray with frylight, then roast until vegetables are tender. Stir in creme fraiche, watercress, garlic & half the cheese. Season to taste. Sprinkle over rest of cheese, then bake for another 10-15 mins until the top is golden.
It was delicious, really summery tasting IYKWIM. It fed 3 of us, plus my DH had seconds, and there is enough for me to take a portion to work for my lunch tomorrow. So that makes the dish 1.5 syns each based on it serving 5, and using the cheese as my HEA. That's based on EE, as not sure about other plans.LBM Dec 10. I will be re-joining the slimming world waggon tomorrow. Free food, only when hungry, stop when full, syns for good wholesome stuff, not beating self up if it goes a bit belly up.

Be warned it doesn't look that bad and its doable at the time - its the next day that you'll feel the "benefits"!
I'd recommend it though!
Good luck!
Gonna give it a go - thanks for the warning, desperate times !!! x0 -
Morning all. It's looking decidedly miserable here today! ATleast the good weather managed to last for the bank holiday weekend, I just hope it comes back for my wedding day!!
I'm going for EE today as I'm at mum's for tea so I don't now what we're having. It will be sw friendly though!
Brekkie - banana, grapefruit & orange, porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - Ham, salad, dressing (2), jelly with strawbs (0.5), pineapple, grapes
Tea - ?
There was meant to be a jacket potato with lunch but I've just realised I left it at home!0 -

Well we went shopping yesterday to Mr A, and I was caught like a rabbit in the headlights by the man whoopsieing the fresh cream buns:eek:
Imagine the scene.....one slightly deranged woman - * week, raging PMT, whos not had ANY chocolate (yeah ok it was the migraine that mainly stopped meBUT I still didnt have any:o) Im suddenly face to face with a man and a pricing gun.....reducing these new 'belgian chocolate eclairs' and cream donuts down to 10p!!!!:money:
Now the MSE person in me was fighting very strongly with the SW'erand I'd done the most stupid thing ever......gone shopping hungry
soooooo what did I do ?
I managed to drag myself away (almost in tears :rotfl:) and I went and bought a mahoosive pineapple & a multipack of curly wurlys to bring home & put in the freezer for 'planned' 8pm curfew treats:T :A
Gosh I felt pleased with myself (and the best bit is.....the curly wurlys are still untouched !!)
