    Hi everyone

I have been on holiday for a week and put on 1.5lb. I don't think this is bad as I have been off plan all week but have done loads of walking.

    Have a good week everyone.

    Hello All,

I have completely lost it :(

Put on 2.5lbs last night at WI and i am now heavier than i was this time last year

And i went to put on a nice summery skirt for meal out on Friday and it doesn't fit!

Considering it was loose on me last year, not good!

    But i am determined (i think):o

    Today is green:

    B - FF yog & froen cherries
L - Ainsley harriot spice sensation couscous (1.5syn), Carrot & swede mash (1 as think OH put butter in it!) & muller light if hungry
D - Butternut Squash & red Lentil Curry with rice
S - 5 Scan Bran (heb) with lemon quark, milk in coffee (hea), 2 alpen lights or fibre plus (heb)

Think i need to eat more! Last week i didn't eat much because i wasn't hungry, but then raided cupboards in evenings once hubby went to bed - how can i get out of this habit? Maybe i could cook quorn sausages or pieces to snack on instead? I need to get back to knitting again!

Need to go shopping tonight so might get some lasange sheets and do a bean lasange?

Well done everyone :T, keep it up & send some will power over!

Imagine the scene.....one slightly deranged woman - * week, raging PMT, whos not had ANY chocolate (yeah ok it was the migraine that mainly stopped me BUT I still didnt have any) Im suddenly face to face with a man and a pricing gun.....reducing these new 'belgian chocolate eclairs' and cream donuts down to 10p!!!!
Now the MSE person in me was fighting very strongly with the SW'er

HEY DIZZ, I thought eclairs were only 7 syns each? I had 2 last night . I ate them with a knife and fork :D v nice they were too!

Go on, tell me they are really bad...
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Almost forgot,

It was a secret WI last night - weird!

And it was also a taster session, i don't know why people don't stay!

I made SW cupcakes - how do i get the pic on here to show you? (they were very nice and the biggest ones were 1.5syns each (even with a mini egg on top!))

A lady also made a courgette soup which was to die for! (i don't like courgettes!)

Our consultant made a SW friendly (free) pimms! I didn't try it (oranges in it! yuk) but everyone liked it!

    !

    whats a secret WI?

I dont know why people dont bother staying to class either :( we were on about this last week ( I know its school hols at the mo) but in general there is still a load of folk who only ever go weigh & leave.....whats the point??

Sorry you're having a 'dodgy' time it at the mo nessie.

You seem to know yourself that you havent eaten enough 'free stuff' so you've got hungry & raided the cupboards of naughty stuff late on, I think weve probably ALL been there in our previous failed attempts at being on plan (well I have :o)

Are you eating the same stuff all the time? sometimes its good to shock your body & give it things its not expecting to have, thats why Ive tried doing a few red days here & there in between greens & EE.

You know you can do it hun ;) you've done brilliant to get this far....you just need to get you're 'head back in the right place AND EAT MORE :D x x

    Thanks Dizzy,

Secret WI is: when someone is staying to group, they cannot see what they weigh and it will not be written in their book, when you then sit down and have image therapy the consultant will ask how you think you have done & then tell you in front of everyone
If you aren't staying the weight gets written in the book.

Was quite good, but some of the weights didn't register as you can't see it so some of the people had to weigh in front of everyone - after a belly full of tasters! :rotfl:

Your words of wisdom say it all Dizzy, thank you

I do try and vary things, but i will admit to eating the same meal 3 nights in a row, i don't get fed up of it if its nice!

I would try reds more often but it hurts the bank balance! And i find myself really hungry on red days (bear in mind i don't like salad!)

I have some more swede and carrots at home so i will make some more mash - just found recipe for butternut squash bubble n squeak so might try that another night!

Also, i wouldn't say i am hungry when i raid the cupboards - i think it is boredom or comfort - as it is normally when hubby goes to bed!

secret WI sounds fun....we have taster night this week, and were having a party for the royal wedding (consultant wants us to go dressed up like for a wedding lol)

I will happily eat the same meal 3 nights running (ive got no choice sometimes with my OH and his love of Mrsms burgers lol :p) speaking of which....these dont work out too expensive, and you could have them without a bread roll and a big pile of swede & carrott for RED day and a 3 egg ham/tom/onion omlette with HEA cheese is filling and cheap on RED too ;)

I get hungry a lot on reds (and they can be expensive) so I eat omlette, burger or do a big cottage pie with carrott/swede top and its not as dear and keeps me full.

Boredom is a !!!!!! just make sure you have some free stuff prepped up ready ;) cold quorn sausages if you're on a green or some rolled up ham & cottage cheese on a RED.

stick a yog in the freezer for an hour (Im loving those ww dessert recipe ones at the moment)

smiley-transport011.gif Did someone call for the Dizzy Tank?? :D

Im thinking now the weather is getting nicer maybe we should upgrade to THIS
smiley-transport013.gifwe can even have some syn free BBQs (using Mrsms Ox burgers :T:rotfl:)

Love the new tank!! I'm on board :) well done Dizzy for resisting the eclairs - I managed to resist the reduced cakes/bread/ready meals in Tesco today too.

I've made this before, and adapted it to SW by using lasgane sheets not tortillas, and using LF cheddar not goats cheese (and a lesser amount), spray oil etc. Very yummy.

Having a goodish day today. Still smiling at the thought of a PMT Dizzy running around Asda resisting the eclairs - well done!
Had a big tooth out today so feeling a bit sorry for myself!
Good side is soup only tonight....
    Food for today
B - FF Greek yogurt with fresh pineapple and a teaspoon of seeds (3)
coffee made with milk 1/2 hea
L - Wholemeal roll (HEB) with ham and coleslaw (3)
coffee made with milk 1/2 hea
D - Homemade pea and ham soup and maybe soft white roll (6) activia snack pot.
Still waiting to see if I dare eat tonight! The anaesthetic is wearing off and it is starting to throb so I'm going to take some painkillers (don't usually like to take stuff).
